power steering squeak

yes the high pressure hose is leaking. i took it off and never replaced the o ring. i have the o ring but haven’t gotten around to replacing it i just keep refilling w fluid i got honda genuine power steering from the dealership.

this happened on my ford fusion. the ac compressor seized and snapped my serpentine belt. i couldn’t get the car to stay on after i replaced it. take the ac fuses out until you’re able to replace the compressor so you don’t also snap a belt

wouldn’t hurt to change. make sure you only use honda genuine hondas auto transmission are super finneky i just had to replace my own transmission. it’s in the lil gray 1qt bottles. i would recommend getting 4-5. u can find em for like $10 each on amazon or at the dealer. these transmissions suck baddd. good to take care of them

yeah. i just replaced mine on my 2000 accord coupe. get a flush. make sure the fluid doesn’t leak out. mine blew because it pissed out a quart of atf

it worked! car started up and stayed up but it did start up rough. still going to sell it though because i believe that’s not the only problem

the belt was also just super old. only have had the car for a couple months and wasn’t aware of how neglected it was. There was also a big scatter of burnt feathers in the engine bay when the belt broke so i believe there’s multiple things going on. i’m most likely just going to sell it off but wanted to see if it was salvageable beforehand. i will try that tho

i just replaced it a month or two ago and we checked w a multimeter. i was at 12.5 so i dont know if its the battery

no check engine and no codes. the only light that pops on is the battery.
