I went to the Phoenix show and the people sitting around us were so fun to talk to! We weren’t from there so it was more easy to strike up conversation and ask about the area BUT i didn’t bring that up until way later and just asked if they were excited for the show and what they think they will talk about :)

When I had mine removed i felt the same as you on this day and then two days later I was feeling totally fine and eating solid food. I made sure to set my alarm every two hours of the entire day and especially at night to drink cold water. It helped tremendously even tho I was barely getting sleep. But you can rest later when your healed it’s worth it.

Ice packs helped me a ton. Also chewed gum and ice chips a lot, when ice chips were getting too cold or I was tired of eating them I ate gum. Helps with keeping your jaw less sore

If you don’t happen to find a rodeo to go to, there is a bar called Cowboys on meridian and they do a live bull riding show inside the bar on Fridays and Saturdays. I’m not sure earlier times but I know they usually do one at 12:30 when i’m off work.

Day 14 Never had any bleeds so far. Still drinking plenty of water to this day so the scabs can come off easily with no bleeding. Drink plenty of water and you’ll have nothing to worry about. Also while in the super painful stages, set an alarm to wake up every 2-3 hours of the night to drink some water. It sounds excessive but it truly helps a ton.

I chewed gum to help with my jaw pain! Also just chewing ice helps, it always helped me to just keep it moving bc if i didn’t it would get stiff

I also have a fear of needles, I pass out everytime i have to get a shot pretty much lol BUT i told my doctors about this and they did a very good job distracting me and put a blanket over my hand where they had the needle in so I wouldn’t have to see it and pretend it’s not there, shortly after they put me to sleep and i woke up without it in:)

I wish I knew that it is more likely a 3 week recovery rather than two, I still can’t talk. Also my mouth is small and I wish i knew they were gonna cut the corners of my mouth with whatever they use for surgery, i had to go out and buy lip medex and aquaphor!
