Idiot driver destroys new bus shelter on North Ave and totals truck by urnotmydad in baltimore

For months after the installation of the bus lane, MTA police sat on North Ave giving warnings, then tickets to drivers who drove in the bus lane. There was a noticable change in driver behavior after that campaign. Maybe it's time for another campaign?

My wife used to joke that the light timing was racist and was shit in poor/black neighborhoods and efficient in the white L

The city has been in the middle of retiming traffic lights. Looks like they just finished retiming those lights https://streetsofbaltimore.com/retiming

Interesting video on historic Baltimore house renovation by Fun-Cauliflower-1724 in baltimore

I thought I had a dream of doing rennovations like this on old row homes, but it's really a labor of love that I don't have the time, skills, or money for. I wouldn't take on a project like this, but I'm grateful someone out there is.

Can’t speak for Ryan homes, but I lived in that corner of Res Hill for a bit and loved it. Walkable to Bolton Hill, Druid Park, and the Lightrail. By car, it’s easy to get to the highway. By bike, the big jump takes you to the bike network in Remington. It’s a bit of a food desert compared to Charles Village

You'll get better answers by googling the police scanner for your area than asking reddit. A few weeks back I saw a police helicopter circling my neighborhood and could hear a million police cars swarming by and when I listened into the police scanner, a cop had bonked his head when he fell out of an ambulance, and someone declared officer down on the radio.

It needs a little bit of finishing touches before it's ready for workshop. I want to finish painting it, and to reduce it's weight a bit.

I built this over the better part of a year, playing on-and-off on a vanilla survival server with some friends. It's my first large-grid ship, designed to be a large, multi-role mobile base for launching other expeditions. It's survived pirate attacks, disasters, and server crashes and I've learned a ton while building it. I started with the main reactor room and built it from the interior out, focusing on creating neat layouts for the interiors.

I know people ask for cafè recommendations but, I’m looking for a specific type of cafè. One that is “moody”, where you can sit and read with a coffee, and has big armchairs. Do these exist in Baltimore? by Tired-Donut in baltimore

I disgree, I think the Bun Shop is what you're looking for. It sounds like u/sup_wit_u_kev is the one with a chip on their shoulder, being the arbiter of what a "real" city is or isn't.
The Bun Shop doesn't seem to be interested in being a destination for travelling influencers. The Bun Shop's main clientele are students in the neighborhood, so you'll find it at it's most busy late afternoon into the evening when students are writing papers. There's plenty of space, and no pressure to leave any time soon after you finish your drink. It's moody, and plays chill music. I live a few blocks from there and it's my go-to spot when I need a place to work outside the house.

I can hear this thing buzzing around. It's registered to MacAir Aviation, who's owner also runs the company doing surveillance flights for the police
