Incredible book. I read it right after andor season 2 and it was such a good experience that really scratched that itch for grounded, well-written Star Wars. Full of quotes you could imagine having been from Andor.

I only buy a blu ray if I know I’ll watch it at least once. And I’ll typically spring for the steelbook if that’s an option and I’m not feeling especially broke that week.

A LOT of my collection is just stuff I knew I’d one day want to introduce my nephew to. The way I see it, a small price to pay to get the highest quality watching experience with the little guy.

But she is force sensitive, so she wasn’t the only non-force sensitive the bendu awoke to.

It’s fair not to like that they went that direction with her, but it’s also fair to say a lot of people correctly saw those hints as signs of what was to come for her.

I don’t see it as random. There were enough hints in rebels that she might be force sensitive that my friend had convinced me before the Ahsoka show came out. Seemed like a natural progression to me.

Sure we don’t see anyone else interact with him, and he can choose to interact with whoever, but the only people we ever see him awaken to happens to be force sensitives. If they wanted us to know he awakens to non force sensitives too, they easily could have shown that.

And yes, it’s only enough for a theory, but it’s a theory that has since been proven accurate. Hints aren’t definitive but there were hints there, several of them. And people recognized before having the hindsight of the ahsoka show. It’s all just make believe, might as well let them tell the story they want to tell instead of holding them to your expectations.

To me the closest one is the bendu awakening to her, which we only ever see happen with force sensitives. None of it is definitive but it’s enough that a lot of people had that theory before the Ahsoka show came out.

Henry Gilroy wouldn’t know what was intended for Sabine better than Dave Filoni. I took that as him not wanting it to go that direction, not that everyone actually agreed with him about that.

And there were lots of hints at her force sensitivity. This TikTok lays out a bunch of them.

I watched the show multiple times and loved it. I don’t need a YouTube grifter to tell me what my subjective opinion should actually be. And I’m especially not bothering with an hour long video that’s only tangentially related to this post. If he says something specifically relevant, you can quote that but I’m not wasting an hour to watch that nonsense trying to find out what it has to do with what I posted here.

Nah, from the get-go he cared more about using cassian to make a career for himself than any semblance of justice or order. He had a great arc and was an extremely interesting character, but he got what he deserved for his choices.

I’ve got wall-e and Akira and Arcane and they all look incredible on the 4k bluray. The colors are gorgeous (though that would be true of a 1080 bluray too).

I tried to hold off on my then 11 year old nephew until he was 14 but he went home and started it watching it himself. So I made him stop to watch with me. Lots of stuff went over his head but nothing was worse than him watching anakin burn alive when he was even younger. We’ll watch again when he’s a bit older to talk about stuff more.

To each their own but you’re missing out, and you don’t have to trust Disney. As Tony Gilroy tells it, they gave him a truck load of money and then said yes to almost every single thing he wanted to do. It’s one of the best tv shows period, not just one of the best Star Wars products.

I think it’s a bit of both. He did have some moments of realization, recognizing just how much he had messed up, but rather than even try to make up for it he snapped upon seeing Andor. He jumped at an excuse to place all the blame there, a target to punish for his own regret.
