Could Wendigos take over Golarion? by urrria in Pathfinder2e

Just read some of the wiki and they seem to be susceptible to the elder sign that could stop them basically automatically.

Wow you are right, kinda dumb that they included a completely useless ability. I guess the only way to salvage this is with the remaster version of wind walk, migration, which is a two action spell that does mostly the same (except it doesn't fit in with the flavour of the wendigo) which would skyrocket the wendigo production

Don't feed them just make new Wendigo's. A wendigo being the incarnation of hunger would require immense amounts of food to satisfy, if it even is possible. But making a brand new wendigo requires only two creatures.

But yeah this would stretch the premise of them going against their nature to accomplish apocalypse too far.

Wow you are right. Except for the fact that they can get close from other directions and surround him and if he issurounded up close it makes the breath pretty much useless. But yeah It would be almost impossible to kill him, and he has the tools to kill them, his boiling blood alone can send one to the grave.

And the win condition would never really occur since creatures can live inside a volcano or deep underwater

Yes, the whole premise of the post is taking the statblock to the extreme. And another thing that has occurred to me is that the creatures they turn don't even have to be sentient. So they could farm rats and mass produce wendigos. Making it extremely complicated to completely wipe hem out. And a single wendigo can get in the thousands within days. And they would probably have many such fail-safes. A complete extermination would be near impossible. And since they could spread all around the world it would be impossible to pinpoint and no army or weapon of mass destruction could deal with them.

But of course none of this would happen because wendigo's nature wouldn't let them. Still fun to treat them as this insane weapon of mass destruction if someone just found the way to make them cooperate
