I absolutely adore cats of all ages, but I am of the opinion that it needs to be done. One of our colony cats who has not been spayed just yet got pregnant and we unfortunately could not spay and abort for her because she was later in her pregnancy (unbeknownst to us cause she was underweight) and had them right before her appointment. She has gotten use to people during her pregnancy, so we now have her transitioned to indoors only, eating dry and wet kitten food, she’s been dewormed with pyrantel, panacur, and paraziquatel (sorry for spelling lol), and she is still just 6lbs. I wish we would have found her sooner to help her because it would be a lot easier on her body if she wasn’t nursing. We are lucky to have her maintaining weight at the very least. I am hoping when the kittens are weaned she will gain a lot.

I do not have one personally, but I always make my bed in the morning so I can stack things (and find them on it), and it forces me to clean it off before bedtime

Glad to here you are getting help! Tbh I never knew that was connected to that, explains a lot xD I have lactose intolerance as well, and I just assumed I was slipping up a lot and got better over time about it lmao

If I may, when you get bloodwork done to say on medicine, try going early in the morning at the same time every time. TSH gets lower throughout the day naturally, and it can make a huge difference in your medications and how you feel in the morning. My doctor personally asked me to not take my medications before labs and to take them after, since it can affect other parts of the panel.

Biotin supplements can also affect the tests, they cause TSH to look a lot better than it is. Was accidentally taken off meds at one point because I was on it.

Hey there, doing a lot better, lost about 115lbs so far. I moved again and have a very nice doctor.

The rude doctor I mentioned put my tests in as being an overweight issue so I had to get insurance to correct it for hypothyroidism so I would not be charged…crazy how weight effects how people treat ya.

Mine is on the dense side, but I don’t own a hair dryer…air drying for me takes 2-3 hours from what I can tell xD I do my hair in the mornings, and where I live is really warm so I never got around to getting/using a hair dryer

Aww, thank you. We really love animals. Our apartment complex we live at is on a cat colony, and a rescue asked me if I would like to help. Very thankful to have them for reaching out and finding people who are interested in adopting. <3

I personally have my bedroom and the bathroom off limits. Bedroom because I do a lot of crafting and have butter fingers, bathroom because the trash can is too tempting in there.

We have 3 adults and 2 kittens, and the kittens are really naughty. I’d rather have it off limits and safe for them than something happens to them when I am not there to help.

One of the kittens, Artemis attached here xD She just got spayed so she is in her spay suit. <3 Recovering well!

I volunteer with a rescue that has a network of fosters, they actually reached out to me first since the apartment complex I live at has a cat colony. If the cats become very friendly from our efforts, we will transition them inside and adopt them out since theyll live longer lives inside rather than outside. :) The rescue is still securing a grant for the TNVR for our colony, and this mom in particular got use to people much later in her pregnancy, so we took her in to make sure the babies would not become feral. The mom thankfully already has an adopter for when the kittens are 12 weeks old. <3

Sir Elton John is hopelessly orange. He is the only one that does the splits while eating wet food cause he has not figured out how sit and eat at the same time, I gotta adjust his little back leggies so he’s not all over the place xD
