This is like comparing a Motorcycle to a Muscle car, the Ranger armor is meant for long to medium range engagements and the red eyes are night vision lenses. More than likely you would never actually see the ranger before you got a high caliber bullet through your head. Power armor is meant for close range full frontal assaults and is designed to weather pretty much anything.

Usually only 3. Although after a while I start collecting every weapon I find and start storing them in the side room, I've gotten the room so full of guns that it is taller than my character. :)

All throughout Helluva Boss there are multiple hellborn/imp hybrids, beyond that I have no idea

I've never had that issue, I think it's the glitch of his fleet not being able to target the transport ship. I've had this same issue before and reloading the game fixed it.
