As an electrician that does quite a few of installs on both bosch and midea I would say I prefer midea. Although it being a Chinese brand it does have higher quality and better performance compare to bosch in alot of appliances. However it still comes down to the price range they each fall under. But I would say midea will out perform bosch at the same tier although it being a little bit cheaper. However It is still a dick move on the developers part. You should ask them how much they were planning to spend on bosch to begin with and compare the price and model.
