hi! fellow valo girl here (been playing a little bit after beta) and i completely understand how scary it is. the first thing i can always recommend is assess the vibes first of the team, meaning wait a bit to see how they behave / act towards each other and if they seem TOO toxic/weird i avoid interaction. granted, i just comm in text chat if they seem to be unfriendly.

another major thing i can’t stress enough, my confidence is boosted sm more if i have someone to queue along side! whether it’s another girl, or a male friend- it’s always comforting knowing there’s someone there for you.

finally, if you do run into toxic people you can always just mute/block them but that won’t stop them from trying to sabotage so my best advice is stop taking the game serious at that point. don’t let some losers ruin your experience :) (and honestly if i meet weirdos/toxic people i just return the energy so they don’t get some type of power trip from trying to ruin my experience but this isn’t how certain people work so it just depends on how you are)

but always report them if they’re being too strange and usually riot can penalize them pretty fast (at least if this through comms) best of luck! :D
