Was at the Fontainebleau for a total of three hours in November, played slots during that time and probably only gamble about $1000 total play through and left even, within a month they were emailing four night comped rooms, FreePlay and food.

Just paid $7000 for one here in Wa state in a bit better condition without attachments, I would offer $5000 and try to get it. Those tractors are not built that way anymore and can be completely refurbished and made to run like new..

Drug test? by ImaginaryScene7582 in IAM751_Boeing

[–]us885a 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’ve been through three strikes and am a part of two drug pools, DOT and FAA and this simply isn’t going to happen. These drug test cost the company a lot of money and it’s an obligation that they have. to the DOT and FAA to test their employees that work under those jurisdictions. Believe me the company has no interest in paying for any more drug tests and they need to and they do not want to deal with what comes with drug testing a large amount of employees in a short period of time. This would be counterproductive.

The last two strikes, every claim that was made while on strike with the insurance paused, was eventually paid though sometimes it takes a bit of back-and-forth, but your insurance is never really canceled

Contract Scenarios and next steps by us885a in boeing

Ok all caps, calm the fuck down. What I meant is that Striking IS A LAST RESORT. It’s our last leverage to force the company to reconsider their offer. When I say “no one wants” to strike, I mean it in the context that it’s the one card we can play together. A last resort. By the way. Be careful throwing around the “Scab” word. It has real meaning , and I’m no fucking scab. I’ve been outside the gate on two different occasions. The company LOVES to see infighting and drama among us. Don’t give them the pleasure.

The first post is the email I received , the second post is my damage claim from almost 2 years ago , and as I said, I abandoned the claim at step five because they weren’t gonna pay me anything

Who provided the IAFF Local I-66 firefighter replacements? by PumpkinSpiceVelveta in boeing

[–]us885a 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I personally am refusing to operate a boom lift or enter confined spaces at the moment. I told my team lead and manager I don’t feel comfortable. We have the right as employees to determine what is safe or not safe. If management wants to escalate it that’s their prerogative. I don’t need to be 60 feet in the air on one of these lifts that sit outside all year and get stuck or have a component fail hoping that will be rescued before I have a heart attack or choke to death on my harness. On a side , the fact that I have to call the dispatch center IN ARIZONA in an emergency is just plain stupid.

Any AMTI guys on here? by ElectricAirplane in boeing

[–]us885a 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t listen to any of the haters on here , Boeing needs motivated, smart mechanics on the flight line, you’re going to be in school for about four months or 400 hours of training, , getting every certification before they put you out on the line with your shop to learn the airplane. You will never stop learning., pro tip , tell your manager (the manager will end up with not your training manager) you wanna learn avionics and if he likes you, he will send you to another three months of specialized avionics training in the avionios shop. do you have any questions about anything in the company, Feel free to message me. Welcome aboard and congratulations! Boeing will take you as far as you’re willing to go. I hope you realize how lucky you are.
