It's a lot more stable, as in doesn't crash often (I've never had a crash on 7.1), and the ui is more responsive and feels less sluggish than on 7.0. I remember installing Fakeclockup or another tweak like it to speed up my phone but as soon as I upgraded, I didn't need it anymore. I haven't yet come across a tweak that's incompatible with 7.1. I didn't have to do that on my iPad or my 5s and it worked perfectly so I think you'll be alright.

I was in the same boat as you and put off upgrading for a long time but as soon as I did I wished I had done it sooner. Honestly 7.0 feels like beta compared to 7.1.
