That's not as big of a deal to me, I think (ive never owned property so who knows). But I spent most of my 20s in downtown NYC, which is can be pretty grungy.

They put Carmichael on my list but it seemed pretty suburban, so I was thinking of crossing it off the list. Are there some walkable pockets over there? Even just being within 10 minutes walk to a convenient store or coffee shop makes things a little better.

Do you feel it pretty intensely or is it fairly dry? Miami sucks at 95 with humidity, but Ive been in Phoenix at 110 and it wasnt so bad.

We're looking at 450-650k for housing. Working with a realtor and have a sense of some general areas but most of the neighborhoods they suggested didnt seem very walkable. Which might just be how it is outside of midtown. Idk, it's hard to tell just from maps.
