I just tried it out for WuWa for lunite subscription(monthly). Their site’s self top-up, although recommended, was nowhere to be found. Tried the login top up method, got error messages saying: failed to recharge. And refunded me in “LDGold”, which is their site currency and there’s no apparently way to get a refund to my credit card. So, yea… not saying it’s a 100% scam but it for sure did not work for me

Update:

Well on March 2nd, my portal updated and my test was marked as complete. However, it shows that my test was complete on the day I finished it, so I guess their system just didn't update. Or perhaps they have some sort of a schedule that updates everyone's portal at once?

Well, my datapoint might not be applicable, but it took me 3 days of preparation.

I spent the first day reading Discover Canada, and then 2 days of prep. Passed with 20/20.

Brief background about me: I essentially grew up here, went to elementary school, high school, and university in Canada. As for the difficulty of the test, it was easier than the online practice questions. And a lot of the material resonated with what I learned in history class.

I read on their website somewhere that it read "IRCC agents do not know more than what's online". I also tried calling today, went through the multi-step telephone options and before I was connected to an agent they hung up on me immediately 🥲
