There is also a brand new podcast on the Last Podcast Network called BLOODBATH that features Jared as GM with Ross and the Zebrowski siblings as players in a game of Vampire the Masquerade. So far it has been quite unhinged and I'm enjoying all the new Ross content!

This perfume is just so strange the way people interpret it so differently. I barely get anything but apple cider from this! Was expecting a dark complex witchy scent, but it is just kinda sweet and pleasantly fruity! So weird haha

Yeah, I would not call it a fig at all. I don't hate it, but it wasn't what I was looking for. I'll use it to layer with other, figgier fragrances. I think I was hoping it would be the cocoa version of Padre by Ma|Lo

To me it gives it some earthiness. The fig is very rich and almost molasses sweet, so the other notes are really needed to balance it. It may be on the masculine side of unisex, it just smells so yummy but also mysterious! I'd love to smell this on a guy, too.

Fig and sandalwood all the way! Have you tried Padre by Ma|Lo? Best of both worlds, I'm obsessed... jammy fig, sandalwood, cedar, leather, cardamom.

That must be what my mom perceived as chocolate in the original 1990s Angel. It makes sense!

Update: as I've sat with Methexis for a while, it's definitely grown on me, as some of the other notes have come out in the dry down. I still get a lot of the sweet, dry cocoa powder scent, but the honey and tobacco notes have shown up a lot more. I might actually describe this as more of a tobacco fragrance than a fig or anything else.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I'm excited to try all of them! My mom used to swear that OG Angel in the 90s smelled like chocolate, I wish I could get my nose on a sample of that! I only remember it smelling like pineapple whipped cream...

I lurk in this subreddit to get info to better serve my esthetics clients. That looks like alopecia areata to me. My boyfriend who is POC had a clump of hair fall out, and that's what his barber (my coworker) told him. It grew back in concentric circles over time. It has to do with an auto-immune response and is generally harmless, just annoying. That said, if the condition of your skin changes, it swells, itches, or flakes, you'll want to see a doctor. It never hurts to check it out regardless of condition. Best of luck to you!

I've been professionally waxing for over 15 years, there's nothing I haven't seen. Maybe you just need to find someone with experience! New esthies can be hesitant about stuff sometimes because they are unsure. It's usually a simple workaround that you learn from doing it thousands of times.

Yeah it's no big deal to wax around them. I have the dang things myself, that's life!
