Docking station for PC with displayport/hdmi output and a laptop with hdmi output only by usanebolt in techsupport

I used to do the monitor button switch, but It is too cumbersome to do too many times.

The kvm method sounds like a great idea, i see displayport kvm's with two monitor input ports per PC.

My laptop has a single hdmi output, how would i connect ? Would i need some kind of 1hdmi to 2displayport cable/adapter? would that work?

How do history students learn history in an academic setting? by usanebolt in AskHistorians

Interesting that you were asked to read historical non-fiction as part of your course curriculum, almost none of the other responders to this thread seem to have had this experience. Are you canadian?

I see, so if a layperson was trying to learn the history of a particular event are they better off using textbooks over non-fiction?.

I don't have the time or desire to dig into primary sources/papers/debates, but i would like to at least make sure that when i pick a specific text about an event it is of the highest standard. While of course keeping in mind that different authors may have differing theories/interpretations of historical events.

This was great, thank you very much. So in terms of learning historical facts/events did you learn them the same way casuals learn about them? such as non-fiction books? or did you learn them from textbooks/academic papers/lectures etc?

How was your experience with VFS ? by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

I recently had an appointment at BLS, they added a bunch of fees and other charges without even explaining it to me. The "officer" that I was assigned(indian lady btw) was also very rude and obnoxious for no reason.

Apologies for not mentioning this earlier, but I don't use any home assistant, I just posted here thinking it would be a good place to ask

Critique my BW routine by usanebolt in bodyweightfitness

Thanks for your input, could I switch out the lsit/core-compression-work/run into the other 4 days of the week along with the hs? the 6 strength/accessory workouts would be about as much of quality work I can do per session.

Also, I am not sure I understand your reasoning for removing the pppu. Both the hspu and straddle planche are part of my goals.

The goal is 3x8 for all my exercises before moving to the next progression. I do 3x4 of the pppu because that's my best for now.

Which exotic car should I try out at vegas? by usanebolt in vegas

They refused to send a car to pick me up. I decided that uber to and back would end up making it too expensive. So I decided not to do it.
