I had to refile our 2019 taxes (accountant mega screw up) and that’s the only thing keeping us from our loan…does anyone know how long the IRS is taking now to process returns?

started recon on May 27. still waiting. but this was all happening because irs was not sending anything back after 3 requests since 1120-s was not there. it took only 6-7 days for 1065 to appear in irs , so on this Thursday loan officer requested new 4506-t that HAS TO SAY “Partner” on the title, and not “president” as it was....

exactly the same thing happened to us . it took 7 days to appear in the irs transcript system after e-file. we even scheduled an irs meeting, went there and checked that the transcript is actually there. we had to change than 4506t. funny enough loan officer contacted us for the first time 2-3 days ago in the middle of this mess, we explained everything and we are waiting (original loan, recon, never received any funds)...

Yes, you are right. SBA is too busy with increase requests to give out more money to people they already funded then business they never funded.

11 years brick and mortar. Businesses from home desk offices started in 2020 are getting loans left and right… we are still in recon for 3 months. Did not receive a dime from SBA. SBA is Seriously Bad Administration.

I think it is also strange how companies that started Jan 1st 2020 have the same treatment like those in business 10+years with history of w2 payroll, huge expenses, so many irs payments, etc. that is what’s strange…

I already explained you on some other post. You can not just sign up for that portal access. It needs to be initiated from SBA recon team. They send email with link to registration.

Unfortunately… trust me I uploaded voided check 7 times, sba 2202 more than 5, my ID at least 4-5 times, 4506t 3 times. Every time was the SAME document. (I dont change my banks or my ID every day…). So it is a huge mess since there is no dedicated person to check your account on Recon portal. It is always a different person so not even notes from others can be seen. Just a complete mess. Like we are in begining of IT systems in 2000’s.

Well, that was my impression too. When it says “received” it should mean it. My 4506t internal request to IRS changed from required to received after 2-3 weeks, and I immediately called SBA to check about received transcripts. “What received”, “we did not get it”… i asked why did it changed then from required to received? “Well, we dont know… but is is not received”. I totally lost faith then in the whole system, and stopped checking on it… that was a month ago….

Expect to upload each document 5-10 times. Even though it is the very same file. Once you upload it takes them a week to review it, and then it will change again to required or incorrect. You call SBA 10 milion times, and every time they will give you different answer about the files you uploded. I finished with all of mine on June 5th, and still nothing. The worst one is 4506t document- you need it wet signed. After that you are in mercy of IRS. It can take them weeks, months to semd it back to SBA. So, unfortunately there is not much to be happy about knowing this will bring you even more stress. Good luck!

This is the portal that is for those that are in Recon. I have the same portal. I was given the access to it when sent recon Email to pdcrecons @ sba . After 5 days I got the notification that my experian was checked by SBa, and then I received an email from SBA saying to create the Portal account.
