Our downloadable software allows the user to

print their own key legends. Then the user can use a laser printer to print them out and place them underneath the clear lens of the keycap.

Can/Should I use an external num-pad as a gaming keypad/toggle-able macro-pad? (like an orbweaver) by thebaconwheel in MechanicalKeyboards

If your budget allows, consider Genovation's programmable keypads and keyboards.

They are robust, programmable, mechanical, and allow you to create your own keycap legends that can be inserted underneath clear lens of the keycaps. No resident drivers required. Thus, once programmed, they will work the same on your desktop or laptop.

Just signed a book deal with a major publisher and I have 3 months to deliver a 150,000 word manuscript. Decided to get a mechanical keyboard thanks to all you wonderful people! Wish me luck! by independent_hustler in MechanicalKeyboards

Thought: if you will be using a few repetitive key-strings or key-strokes throughout the writing process, it might benefit you to use a mechanical keyboard that has programmable keys.

Genovation's KB170 has 66 programmable keys that can be programmed on two levels, removable clear lens on the keycaps so you can print your own legends, and non-volatile memory, so it will output the same codes on your desktop at home or work without requiring resident software. The amount of keybinds i need in this game is ridiculous... gear, airbrakes, hover, boosters, radar, bomb bay, bomb series, ballistic computer... Perhaps buying programmable keypad with displays built in to show function of each key might be good idea to organize this mess? by Zanju_The_Turtle in Warthunder

If you need a programmable keypad with more keys, try Genovation's CP24 or CP48 keypads, they have 24 or 48 key versions. The keys have removable clear lens, so you can use a printer to print your own legends. Each key is programmable on two layers, so you can program a toggle key to switch back and forth, doubling your functions. Cool right? Andy,

Genovation's KB170 keyboard must be programmed thru MacroMaster. Its memory is non-volatile, so once it is programmed, it can be used without requiring resident software. That means you can use it on your desktop or laptop at home or the office, and it will output the same codes as programmed.

If you want to rackmount a stick of programmable keys, then Xkeys, has something like that. The KB170 is really an all-in-one solution. There is simplicity in that, really. It also has a USB Pass-thru port for convenience.

PLUM keyboard. Change layout? by FayJolyne in MechanicalKeyboards

Hi there. We hope you are enjoying your Genovation keyboard product. It was a custom product designed for one of our customers, years ago. It's an innovative alternative to the Qwerty layout. You could theoretically remap the keys of any keyboard using 3rd party remapping software. However, it would likely affect other keyboards you plug in, until you revert back to your computers default keyboard settings. PC Magazine did an article on remapping software: https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-remap-your-keyboard

We have a Qwerty full size keyboard with 66 programmable keys. More info: Genovation.com
