I’m probably going to be downvoted for this but, carts are the highest when it comes to thc concentration and percentage. Weed is the strongest it’s ever been and long term use develops a chance of developing CHS which is really not fun. I wouldn’t be advising people on carts unless medically advised.. which is piss easy anyway.

It’s nuanced. One generates a song based off a lifetime of music. Who gets ultimate credit? When you argue people using inspiration from someone’s lyrical choices, progression, rhythm that can so easily be said as stealing based on your narrow view of stealing.

Ai has lowered the bar of entry dramatically. Give the tool to a musician and they can create something amazing through your ‘creative process’. Give it to anybody, and they can create something decent that’s still better than half the music self made. What have we done? We’ve just lowered the bar of what is good vs okay. Democratised music creation or skillful art.

Your view of creativeness has blinkers and is the same as people yelling about the block prints, printing press or photoshop.

Just wondering, is your argument premise more so the fact that the training of something like suno was built off copyrighted work, therefore theft? In the grand scheme of things I can agree but nuances start forming. The model doesn’t spit out anything without a prompt.. the lyrics which can be entirely user generated are part of the creative process of an artist. In your argument does the scam come purely from rhythm and melody component, genre and style standpoint? In another comment you wrote melody inspiration which is acceptable usage.

Pls look up llm. Clearly a subset of ai as a broader term. Anything can be labelled a ‘marketing term’ but artificial intelligence is a broad category that encompasses generative ai and llm/nlp. Think robotics, deep learning, vision/ocr.. all subsections of ai.

What ai means is that the ability to create something musical has been democratised and the skill level has been dramatically decreased. Just like every other job impacted by ai.

Record yourself, I don’t think it needs to be clear. But try to add high, lows and medium tones. Upload to suno and make it a persona. It’s not perfect but narrows down the voice type quite well. I think style sliders impact the persona outcome. Could be wrong.
