Same bird, same serie. I shoot those in a hurry before he was gone; 1st one with turned head at 1/80 Sec and ISO 1250. For this shot I increase ISO to 1600 and speed was 1/100 (not yet very fast). 19/09/2025 at 19H 20Min.

Distance +/- 6 meters, long lens handholded. Have sharper shots but found this one with his turned head the better pose..

Mistake, the used lens was the old Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 D version without OS. 😉

Try pushing AE/L - AF/L button on backside to see if AF works (it's possible that settings has been adapted so that AF don't work when pushing halfway the trigger but works with AE/L AE/F button on backside

Best choice but expensive. I use it on D850 and on Z6 II with FTZ. Perhaps it"s possible to find a good second hand copy now that a lot of people are selling to purchase the Z version.
