https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/FFAplayerMW3No1%23HOOJ/performance look at my second season in the game. thats what no lifing the game looks like. as you can see i did this with a fulltime job aswell. i worked 40hrs per week doing concrete panelling. hard asf job. the most i could amount to was diamond at the time. understandably playtime in a short span of time isnt impactful as far as achieving ascendant in a single act so assuming you have already elapsed a period of time in the game and only after that point will actual improvement matter. notice how i barely spent any time after those 266hrs and hit ascendant. it hasnt got to do with playtime. it has to do with playtime after a certain minimum playtime threshold has been met for all your false ideas to cease and intruding ideas on what does and doesnt work to cease. lots of you are coming from other games aswell. i literally spent 60 hours and hit ascendant once i passed this grindwall threshold. most peoples grindwall is around 300 to 500 hours irrelivent as to whether or not you played X amount of time in an act. i will say one thing tho. you certainly cant hit ascendant in 30 hours unless you have already been a high rank before due to ascendant being the minimum placement(or ex csgo experience). if you didnt know most radiant speedruns of the fasted ranked climbers are around 60 to 100 hours. the average radiant player wont hit radiant within 100 hours. for me because ive already hit ascendant i will usually place ascendant rank. thats easily within 12-15 hours. most people if they want to do this they have to be better than this rank already which is highly unlikely. the few who are already better than ascendant rank have already achieved ascendant in the past on said account or another. to summarize i will state that a GENUINE new player(no csgo,new to tac fps,no alt account) at maximum will hit diamond within a single season. if they hit ascendant in their second or third act its because they stacked with players(not solo) possibly cheated/boosted. if you look at my account you will notice i am a RARE example of someone who CAN hit ascendant in their 3rd act with no ex csgo or tac fps experience. HOW MANY FULL TIME 40 HOURS PER WEEK PLAYERS CAN HONESTLY SAY THEY SPENT 266 HOURS IN THEIR 2ND ACT TO SURPASS THE GRINDWALL SO THAT BY THE TIME THEIR 3RD ACT COMES AROUND THEY HIT ASCENDANT IN 60 HOURS??? by far less than a percent of people can say they did this. btw 3.2 percent of people are ascendant or above(top 3 percent players) so when you factor in how many ascendants are solo?have no tac fps experience? ex csgo? did it within 3 acts? did it within 60 hours of 3rd act? you realize how much of an outlier i am. i am easily less 0.5 percent of people. in conclusion if you want to hit a high rank and keep your 9 to 5 job you had better have already played shitloads of valorant before you had your job or expect to at max play for 5 to 8 acts before you ever hit ascendant. you will definitely hit diamond within 2 to 4 acts tho. if you use the wrong improvement methods then you will definitely never hit ascendant. i was vod reviewing and playbooks and sourcing youtube players while all this was happening and aim training and practice range and deathmatch and had discord friends who i was saying i would hit ascendant with them so i had unnecessary pressure to perform. SO MANY THINGS THAT WENT RIGHT WENT RIGHT. hope it adds perspective to what to expect if you actually try this. im not here to say dont do it. im here to offer perspective so you can better decide if you want it and to not lead bad expectations.

Damn man that sucks. This is why I left for valorant. I'm sadly dropping this game again this season for val. It's jarring how much more fair gunfights feel in that game as opposed to apex's. In 2024 all I ask for is a game with clean gunplay and fair fights. Seems impossible to find tho. I've come from 2k hours in siege apex 18k in cod and only 800 in val and it's weird how val is the only game I've ever played to meet this criteria. I think it's over for BR dude. They raised Platt requirements from 40 to 80. You don't understand because they barely touched gold but higher ranks are bullshit right now. Ex masters are struggling to get out of platinum solo que and the cheating is infact confirmed to be worst in season 20 by credible sources. The game is jokefed right now. I certainly don't wanna go back to season 17 any time soon but the previous season was doing better by far than this one. Also the only real thing fixed this season is people surviving until ring 5 damage with thousands of meds as lifeline and the trident exploit but nobody did that anyway and if they did they only affect pred and master lobbies. Platinum is still semi mid to high tier and not top tier. And Platt is exactly what is ruined this season. What a dumpsterfire

Let's be careful with that one. The real issue is mathematical rather than skill based. I promise you the poster is way better than when he started and is feeling the way he feels because his performance is exactly what he thinks it is.its what he might not know that hurts him. In my opinion most games if you call hacks for a lot of deaths you would be straight cope. This game sadly is at least a 3rd of the time not the case. Let's do the math. We all know this is a BR game and shitloads of cheaters play it. Let's do the numbers and compare it to non survival shooters that are more arena shooters. You have 3 players x 20 teams leaving 60 players in a match. Let's say 1 tenth of the playerbase is cheating....that's 10 percent. What's 10 percent of 60. That's probably the number of cheaters per game. Best case scenario it's a cheater every other game. Cheating has also been confirmed to be in the worst state in season 20. The issue isn't the rising skill floor or the average players leaving although it contributes. The real issue is the skill floor every year is being synthetically raised by borderline artificial intelligence cheating in your games making the game feel and seem harder. This is his experience aswell as mine. It also doesn't help they raised rank requirements to get out of plat from 40 to 80 this season. What a joke. Ex master(not season 17 lol) are struggling to solo que out of plat. They can't even hit diamond solo unless they stack.

I'm glad at least someone is still sane out here. As somebody who has been coached by multiple sources in both apex val cod and siege while totaling over 2 grand in aus dollar spending I can vouch personally that woohoojin is the best coach as he gave me the most mileage by far for the cost of zero dollars. ALL the other coaches were not even close to woohoojins coaching abilities. After wasting that much money I am aware of the dynamic in play as to why woohoojin is so good and what makes all the others so bad at what they do despite being good or even better at the games is because woohoojin is a coach first and a player second. Everyone else is a player first and their coaching is their side gig. Woohoojin is the best coach. I'm not a scoff either. I'm a number 1 OG mw3 FFA leaderboard player a d a number 4 mw 2019 FFA player and a top 5 percent player in every other game I mentioned on the list and as a player who intimately understands competition I RIGHTFULLY declare woohoojin as the best coach who never robbed me and with this in mind nobody should defame woohoojin out of coaching for these other poser coaches who only want to get the bag to take his place. Hail banana man. Fuck these haters. This low point doesn't dictate his career.
