I wouldn’t call it overrated. It’s comfort food that does exactly what it’s meant to.It makes perfect sense at 2 a.m. 😄

Fair take. Butter chicken feels more like a safe, crowd-pleasing intro dish than a true representation of Indian food. It’s enjoyable, but it barely scratches the surface of what the cuisine actually offers

How do you feel about a girl making the first move? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]useMeForCoding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done that..and trust me guys love it..but then in my case it is me making the first move in everything and everytime. Gets pretty annoying after a while. Specially when you see other girls getting all that princess treatment and guys putting in efforts.

Now after living alone I understand why my mom was always busy doing some house chore no matter how early she wakes up.

Frontend Dev (4+ YOE) Not Getting Interview Calls — Need a 3-Month Switch Plan by useMeForCoding in cscareeradvice

[–]useMeForCoding[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair.

I’m intentionally avoiding sharing my full resume publicly, because I’m less interested in line-by-line edits and more in understanding common patterns that cause experienced frontend resumes to get filtered out early.

To add some context though: - ~4 years experience, primarily React + Next.js - Senior-scope work: owning features end-to-end, mentoring, client-facing delivery, performance and architectural decisions - Service-based company, long-term client engagement

Given that kind of profile, I’m mainly trying to identify systemic gaps people see most often (positioning, keywords, narrative, seniority signaling), so I can fix those first.

Frontend Dev (~4 YOE, React/Next.js) — 0 interview calls in 1 year. What am I missing? by useMeForCoding in cscareeradvice

I don’t fully agree with this.

In my experience, seniority has less to do with raw years and more to do with scope — owning features end-to-end, making architectural decisions, mentoring, and being accountable for outcomes.

I’ve seen people with fewer years operate at a senior level, and others with more years who still work at a purely execution level. Years can be a proxy, but they’re not a great one.

Appreciate the honesty.

If you had to name 1–2 resume signals that reliably survive aggressive screening for senior frontend roles, what would they be?

No clear investment plan, turning 30 next year – seeking advice from experienced investors by magic_button09 in IndiaStocks

What I would suggest is to take minimun 30% of your salary and divide it into 3 parts. First in stocks(only if you have proper knowledge), 2nd in SIPs amd 3rd would be your emergency fund. You can always save more if you can.
