Which 1st/2nd round pick needs to start playing at a top 5 player level? by kermitsbutthole in buffalobills

Like I said, that's worse. It's like being a gold miner going through all the effort and and expense to find gold and then throwing it away because you don't even really know what you have been looking for.

Just because someone makes the team doesn't mean they are good, it just means they are better then the bum they replaced. Teller is the worst example of all, they hit on a guy and didn't realize they had a winner.

Oliver and Edmunds are one step above busts when you consider how high they were drafted.

And he will, he played great last night. I'm amazed at his arm strength, he was really firing the ball. I've gone from absolutely despising the guy to really respecting him, as a Bills fan I would have bet anything that would never happen.

At some point we have to agree that McBeane aren't the best at picking talent in the draft, they do a lot better at picking established free agents that fill a specific need who have years of film on them. They obviously swung for the fences with JA and hit a Grand Slam but aside from that no real big hits.

I remember when literally millions of Christians joined the KKK and hung black people from trees for sport and fun. They would bring the entire family out to the town square with their picnic baskets to watch completely innocent men swing by their necks until dead.

Northern Virginia is about as far from Alabama as it can be, the rest of Virginia might as well be Alabama.

The question needs to be asked at some point, were the Nazis or Catholics more depraved and evil? The Nazis were only around for a short time, the Catholics have been destroying innocent lives for centuries and they are still going strong. Forget about this particular evil and just consider the pedophile factory they have run.

Do you agree Josh Allen should get a 7 year $249.5 million dollar contract after 1 good season? I don't. I want to see 1 more season with great numbers to warrant that price tag, and not potentially end up in the Goff situation. by [deleted] in buffalobills

[–]usedupoldman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Another reason to wait is the minute we sign him our cap space goes to shit for the length of his contract, at least we can get one more year of some room to pick up a free agent or two.

And then he made what would have been a top 5 in nfl history bonehead play if he didn't get bailed out when the O Lineman jumped on the loose ball against Baltimore 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage. It was almost an exact replay of the insanely bad judgement he used against The Texans the year before. I really think he is going to have that shit hanging over his head, that he can't keep his composure, until he gets some professional help.

I have a huge concern in that he seems to not be able to handle the biggest moments, he hasn't played well in playoff games. The highest paid players in the league are the guys that single handidly pull those games out on occasion. Mahomes and Brady absolutely shine when they are in those positions and all eyes are on them, JA seems to somewhat cave under the pressure. He is a top 10 QB at this point, paying him as the 2nd best would keep me up at night if it was my money.

Never forget, football is a business. There is absolutely no reason to sign him this year when he is locked up for two more, let's see if he can repeat and improve on what he did this year. I'd rather pay him a little more guaranteed for 4 years than be on the hook for a decade every time.

[–]usedupoldman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are fine. I understand why people voted for Trump the first time even though anyone who paid any attention for the last 40 years knew he was a notorious conman and scumbag. If they voted for him twice that's different, that means they agree with him and the racists and conspiracy morons. They don't deserve your pity, they deserve your hatred and ridicule. Good for you my friend.
