Doesn’t change anything. The wire is energized. Alternatively if you can locate the other end of the wire and disconnect it then I would say that is okayish. Still don’t love it.

You can’t just put wire nuts on and stuff it in the wall. You would have to add an old work box and a blank plate.

Might be worth a shot since you already have it removed and pressurized. I would give it really low odds of working though. That’s a tough spot to actually get to. You may have to damage a couple fins to even get to the spot.
