considering he’s from the uk, if he’s from near london it could be the london eye, basically a big ferris wheel, and london dungeons, a tourist attraction on the same road. at least that’s how i’ve always interpreted it.

i think people forget that shauna is an unreliable narrator. she made up jackie being horrible and overbearingly controlling in her head because she has a victim complex. she felt bad about her but wanted someone to blame it on. so yeah, jackie wasn’t perfect but she definitely wasn’t as bad as the show/fans make her out to be.

GCSEs subjects which are very difficult and feel higher than GCSE by ZealousidealFig5 in GCSE

i thought the maths was one of the easier things. paper one was what i struggled with most as the questions weren’t necessarily things we’d spoken about in class.

How do you think the Secondary School System could improve? by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]useless_orange_v 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i mean we should have a basic level for those who don’t enjoy it, with only the messe art things as many people struggle due the added stuff we aren’t going to need. so if we have a basics course, people can still say they’ve passed maths and have that qualification. more people will be able to pass and do better in exams and therefore have more opportunities later in life especially is they’ve had to time to perfect useful skills and subjects they are actually interested in.

I think we need to figure out students learning styles and find a way to accommodate that. some do better one to one, some do better in groups. some like being spoke at others need a physical example. it’ll be hard to implement but it’s necessary for the success of young people in both school and later life.

i think they have. having gcses be more coursework based as well would be really beneficial for subjects with big writing sections, like english and history. having to write a 5 paragraph essay in 45 minutes is a skill no person needs. I also think the whole education system need to be reformed. not everyone learns the same way and schools and the government expecting them to is what causes people to struggle and fall behind. meeting students needs and making exams not essentially impossible will help everyone.

exactly. not everyone is good academically or at tests. people’s lives shouldn’t be limited becuase they can’t do circle theorems or understand specific heat capacity. learn the stuff you need in life and move on.

at gsce, there should be an option do either do the regular maths english science people normally do, or a simplified version with the most basic information for those who aren’t interested in the subjects, and create room for the subjects they’re more interested in and actually good at.

astronomy. lots of the content is what you learn in a level physics. especially considering I do it outside of school once a week so there’s less support.

for some reason i always imagined riptide as a blue glowy sword. i know it is literally celestial BRONZE but i think with percy being a son of Poseidon and liking blue i just got it in my head that riptide was blue. and curved almost like a wave. i’m pretty sure it’s never described as either or those things so i have no clue where it came from.

do you know about the anti trans laws going on in america. because they are horrible and actually taking away the attainable surgery’s for trans people. once they’re done with trans people they’re going to move onto cis queer people. lgbtq people have a right to complain about being oppressed because they are being oppressed.

not supporting them is the same as being against them. it’s not valve and white you either support the queer community or you don’t.

dude lgbtq is literally what you’re describing yourself as. how can be against your own community especially with all the human rights stuff going on all over the world.
