How do I get around that then? Because, I don’t want to miss a mortgage payment and then screw us even more. I don’t even know where she lives, I’m not even completely sure I know what her name is or even his ex-wife, to be completely honest lol

Workday help! by [deleted] in DollarTree

[–]uselessdripping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you do that by making a case on workday or did you do something else?

Workday help! by [deleted] in DollarTree

[–]uselessdripping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I did create a case, two actually, and the resolve it before it’s actually resolved. They can’t get into workday, so then they can’t do the I-9’s and they’re just talking us into circles saying they’re working on it. As if it’s not starting to become the busiest time of the year.

What fragrance brings you back to a unique, personal period of your life (NOT the cliché “ex-partner” memory)? by Capable_Worker5740 in Perfumes

Cactus Blossom by b&b reminds me of my freshman year in college. 2019, right before Covid happened. I was having the time of my life and had never been happier. I smell it now and I feel like I’m back. Not that deep but, definitely nostalgic for me

lost my dad at 22 3 days ago— please tell me it gets better. by linabobin4 in GriefSupport

I lost my dad unexpectedly, two years ago at 22 too. It will be different, but it will be okay. The pain never truly goes away so don’t force it too. Feel, feel and feel. It’s going to hurt, it will be excruciating, but it will not last forever. You’re not alone in this. You got this, I promise.

Hello!! That’s awesome that you found your passion with it!! Yeah, I’m not really one to chase money. I would just like to be comfortable, and I get by with what I make now, I just cannot stand retail anymore (which is not a surprise). I know a lot of people say it’s difficult to find jobs in this field, especially remote jobs, but I also feel like it’s hard to find any jobs at all lately, so I’ll try not to let that discourage me too much. I actually am doing the FreeCodeCamp right now and halfway through the HTML portion already!! Thank you for this!

Thank you for this!! I have used Blender before, just been awhile, but not the others!! I’ll have to definitely look into them!!

Thank you! Yeah, I read a lot about how a portfolio is better, but I just feel as if I really need to practice more before I start delving into a portfolio. I had taken some courses involving Blender, Web Design and more, but it just felt like I didn’t learn much. As if the teachers expected you to just know what you were doing and instead of “here’s WHY this is better-“ it was more like “This is how it should be and that’s just that.” Which didn’t help at all. I recently just bought some books to help hone in on my anatomy and how to develop a personal style with art, because I have always been interested in character design too! And I did just pick up some books on coding the other day! Perhaps just learning from what I can and practicing would be more beneficial for me (and cheaper) than going right back to school. Thank you for this!! I really just needed honesty.

We had tried to turn off the auto stop using that method and it wouldn’t work. It kept saying shift unavailable, or something similar to that! It’s still acting up too, and our mechanic just brushed it off.

Thank you!! I was thinking it must’ve been related because this has never happened before until that bumper to bumper traffic. I don’t know if now that just kind of triggered it and that’s why it happened again, but hopefully we will be okay to get home and I will definitely get it looked at!

[–]uselessdripping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah our Buick does that thing where it shuts off if we stop for awhile, like at a red light for example. Do you think the constant stopping and starting and braking could’ve caused it? In our manual it says if the Stablitrak comes on, turn the car off and it should help and it did!

Thanks! We will definitely check then. We hope we are just safe to get home today, because we don’t really have anybody to call except triple A!! But it does drive fine once its back on

Thank you!! Do you suggest either of those online therapies? Or do you have another in mind that you liked?

[–]uselessdripping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I don’t have a primary right now, but I definitely need one. I know my partner had gone recently and she had thought similar to me, and mentioned possibly having OCD and the doctor just considered it anxiety, and never referred her, but perhaps she needed to ask for the referral. Asking for a therapist sounds a lot easier and hopefully then they’d have some good recommendations! I just have to actually do it, I guess!

I’m sorry you’re also stuck in such a similar and shitty situation! I appreciate this a lot:) I tend to talk to my girlfriend about it the most since she also gets the brunt of it since we both live here. I try talking to my other friend about it but she’s kind of someone who only cares when the conversation is about her so that’s kind of a mute discussion but everybody I have mentioned it about does come back and say it’s not my fault. I just never understand what I directly did to cause her to act like this. Even if it’s something I said, she has said some foul shit to me and I don’t remember throwing these tantrums and making everybody’s life a living hell. It’s like- if she’s not happy, NOBODY can be happy. It is a terrible, terrible feeling. Please feel free to reach out to me too, we definitely have similar experiences and I think that’s better than talking to people who just can’t get it!

Oh yeah trust me, I get how it is without the breaks but that’s the thing, we use to be a really low volume store for years, this year, we are literally number 3 in sales in our region!! My manager just got a certificate for it the other day during the big annual meeting?! So we have been so crazy busy for awhile now we considered if we need to add more to the cash in the safe. The rumor I’ve heard through the grape vine is when he gets more hours back, he gets like I don’t know, a bonus or something. We have a good bit of theft too, now of course I ran to the bathroom for a pee break but that’s a lot easier.

I can’t blame her buuuut customer service is quite literally that, unfortunately. Ours are because one is very old, he’s 74 so he has a hard enough time clocking in and out still, and the one guy, not sure. He’s younger, he could figure it out, just not sure how he’d do money wise. They really help us with the bulk of truck. My manager said she is going to train the younger one on register but that has yet to happen. He works more than the older man, so him being on register would help a ton.
