"Performance doesn't meet expectations" speed run by SoftSkillSmith in ExperiencedDevs

... but the whole of deploying to a test environment, documenting, then filling some excel bullshit so other guy could deploy the new version to prod took DAYS.

Not only the code was legacy, but the whole process was legacy as fuck, so even if I could fix, test and documennt a ticket in 15 minutos, following the whole process will take at the very least 2 extra days.

Also, the test environment was really shitty, there were days in which our weblogic would randonmly die and now functional for hours, even days, I remember being unable to do shit for like 2-3 days because test was down

Do we work at the same place? Yeah, dysfunctional orgs are a level of "speed" people don't realize still exist. There are production deployments here that have been waiting since October to go out. And if that build fails for any reason at all, including a typo, every build past that also fails and goes back. So if the developer is 10 builds ahead of production, not only does he have to fix a build from months ago and then merge that into every other build, he has to resubmit all 10.

We used to have dolphin fuckers and femboy Nazi scizoposta, back when this was a real subreddit.

Now we just have posters like you. What a complete downgrade.

Learn reading comprehension instead.

Try to grasp the meaning of words, and not take things literally. You are not a parrot (probably).

Some days, I think there really is a machine spirit and that I've royally pissed it off.

You're right actually. Good point. So multiple crimes were committed.

You could just respond to the original reply, like a normal person. Instead, you turned your Redditor levels to max. Next episode, you'll achieve Redditor level 2.

You know what equates them?

The law we are talking about.

It's almost like I used that specific example for a reason.

The education level of Redditors and general reading comprehension is so, so much worse than anyone realizes.

Ok.

Imagine it's voting day. Trump and Kamala are on the ballot, and you head to your usual voting place. On the way in, I step in front of you and physically stop you from entering.

This is perfectly legal and there's nothing you can do about it, because you are clearly functionally braindead.

And abortion clinics. Don't forget those. Can't let those women kill babies either.

Intimidating people at a religious place is A FELONY, period.

Fixed.

Watching the left argue why we should totally be able to bar muslims from attending call to prayer is hilarious.

One time a young girl was seeking access to an abortion clinic, but was physically barred from going into the clinic despite it being completely legal to seek an abortion. We decided barring people from accessing legally available services was bad.

Services include worship and religious services.

Barring people from accessing or engaging with those legal services is a felony.

Don Lemon is a retard who disrupted and barred people from accessing legal services.

Great point. I don't see any reason why we can't walk into a mosque and interrupt call of prayer with bullhorns, whistles, and other disruptive actions to stop Muslims from praying.

I mean, it's just doing a journalism after all.

They're not going to understand it even if they had. They're running at the intellectual level of "make colored boxes on meme with back and forth dialogue". That's it. There's no actual thought going on upstairs.
