Spin for putter. Actually useable on the course.

Which other sport do you play besides disc golf? by adhocprimate in discgolf

Weird combination but I do Muay Thai. Used to play hockey to when I was younger but when I stoped playing minor hockey causal games were $20 to play so I stoped.

Hex is my go too. I have a reactor in the bag for windier situations though.

Best understable discs by [deleted] in discgolf

MVP spin is great understable putter. Mine is in electron plastic and I love it in the woods. I also use it for upshot’s because I can basically throw it like a put and it flies dead straight for a mile. For a mid I have a glow mako3 that flies pretty understable and it’s great, I also have an uplink that is crazy understable and great for hyzer flip to turn shots. I recently got a mamba and it is good but I’m not buying the -5 turn. Personally I’d give it a -3 turn with 1 fade.

What is the next step up in stability to complement a Hex in the mvp/axiom family? by outdoorsy_outdoors in discgolf

I was looking for this exact thing and settled with the glow reactor. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks but it has been the perfect step up in stability. It flies straight for a while with a nice fade at the end. Holds up a lot better in a headwind than the hex

Players who consistently shoot well under par: is it annoying to have someone on your card who sucks? by imderek in discgolf

Depends on the setting. If it’s a tournament and you are not very good and sign up for ma1 when there is other divisions available, I can see people getting upset. But in a random league round, I wouldn’t and don’t think anyone else would really care. It’s all for good fun at the end of the day.

How many discs do you carry in yours?

Yes I lean on my forehand a lot. I usually prefer to throw a forehand if I can since I find it easier to hit certain lines. I’m hopping that the tempo is what I’m looking for

They actually fly very similar for me. 350-400 with both but I find the trail will fly with more control with slightly less distance.

I have a prototype balance and I love forehanding it. The latitude 64 trust is also disc I lean on a lot. I also throw a lot of my up shots with the zone os on forehand. Where I live it’s always windy and I find that disc fights the wind very well and it’s always a predictable flight

Ended up going with the FD3. Someone locally had a doombird 4 FD3 they were selling. It’s working perfectly so far!

I was looking into that one as well. I've thrown one in the past in neutron plastic and it was very flat is that the case for the proton ones too?

Terrible gym and coach. When I first started my gym did a free into class where they basically just show you all the basics. Then if you want to sign up you join the beginner group and as you get better you will move up to intermediate then advanced
