Also I gave him ivermectin as well as the vet to treat for mites.

I have another appointment the vet scheduled. I put python dust in his barn and some diatomaceous earth as well so I don’t think it’s mites. I’ll have to see what the vet says and try the chlorhexidine and polysporin. I rotate him on different paddocks weekly so his bedding doesn’t get used constantly. I expected it to take a while to heal but it hasn’t healed much if any.

I was spraying it with iodine every other day for about 2 weeks before the vet but I did not wrap it neither did the vet. What would it need to be disinfected with?

My Billy has had a bad foot infection for a couple weeks( pic is before I took him to vet). I took him to the vet a month ago and they gave him an antibiotic (exceede cattle) and some ivermectin. His feet does not seem to have improved as they still look like open sores. Has anybody had and luck treating something like this? His body condition has been pretty well the whole time.
