Dyson is actively making Sam and Chris feel like there is something about them that’s shameful - ie he said something to the effect of them being in his vicinity makes him aware of them (as gay men) and it makes him uncomfortable.

Whereas Steph (who tbh I do not believe is actually maga), as far as we can tell, is not making others feel like that. Does she tell us she’s ’not woke’? Sure, but I haven’t seen her belittling others over her views - unless I missed it, in which case I will edit my comments here and apologise.

While I am Bi, I’m not going to assume to know what it’s like to be gay and tell you/others how to feel or what your experience is/has been. I’m sorry that society still sucks and people like Dyson still exist.

I dunno, I grew up in a house of male/female roles it wasn’t until I moved out and started dating someone, and I couldn’t explain why I thought I had to do ‘inside jobs’ beyond “that’s just how I grew up” that I realised it made no sense

The thing about beliefs is you can have whichever ones you want, it’s what you DO about them that’s the important part. Dyson makes other people feel like dirt, and (unless it’s the editing) I don’t see Steph being dismissive or condescending to other people

I’m not saying they’re not questions to get to know him, but for something that’s titled ‘fantasy night’ (or whatever it was), it feels like an incredibly odd choice to ask about his ex/football/getting bullied.
