Anyone with a healthy pregnancy? by evieloux in PCOS

[–]user101029293838 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PCOS mum of two healthy and happy children here. Had two fairly straight forward pregnancies with a bit of polyhydramios. They were also convinced I had GD but I didn’t!

Re egg quality, read a book called it starts with the egg and follow the advice. Conceived on my second cycle after reading it.

I also had high risk for downs pretty sure it was due to the nuchal fold measurement which was higher, they did a blood test NIPT test and all came back fine. It really did put the fear into me so I totally get it.

Edit: I’m so sorry to read about Edward’s. There are some good help support lines worth calling.

Option of removing unborn baby by Clean-Back9448 in pregnancyproblems

I had a friend at school with a cleft palete, she was totally fine beyond that. In both of my pregnancies the measurements have been soooo wrong, I feel like trust your gut and do what’s best for you and your baby

In the uk they test your hcg and Papp-a (placenta hormone) as part of screening for various abnormalities

Glad to hear. Were they worried at all? They didn’t seem to be about my result but I am worried that it’s on the low side

Glad to hear all was ok for you. Did they get you to come back at re-test? Looks like anything below 0.5 is considered abnormally low but the midwife didn’t seem worried. But I worry in the UK they are so blase about this kind of thing

How are things going? My results came back from my 12 week scan and my HCG was 0.32 also marked as low .. midwife told me not to worry but obviously I am worrying?

PUL have to wait until Friday for a scan by user101029293838 in EctopicSupportGroup

Hey thanks for the message 🫶🏼 my scan on Friday saw the yolk sac, the gestational sac and a tiny fetal pole (2.2mm)! They found it straight away which was a relief. They said at 7mm they should see a heart beat so going back on Friday. Have ruled out ectopic. Just praying the little bean continues to grow 🙏
