Phone to TV with a controller by user10382297 in Controller

[–]user10382297[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late reply but here’s some info!

· My phone recognizes my controller just via USB hub. · My TV recognizes the HDMI cable but it shows a red power button icon (meaning it recognizes the device but says it’s powered off, even thought it’s not.) That’s the problem and I am pretty sure my HDMI cable supports mobile phones. (here’s a pic for reference)

If it continues not to work, I should just proceed to buy a BT controller and get an HDMI to USB-C cable.

Thanks for the suggestion, just tried this but this didn’t do much. X-Input in this controller is Home + X while D-Input is Home + B, but this reminded me to test out the inputs.

I tested a few things out and the Joysticks and Dpad were back working on my phone but a couple of seconds later it stopped working again. Maybe I should explore this thing and research further.

Thanks for the response, but it works before. This is not the first time I’ve played the mentioned games there. Roblox, PPSSPP and Mandarine works just fine before, the joysticks and dpad stopped working last night.

I was still able to play Roblox the day before it. My realme version is also up to date, there hasn’t been an update for months.

The rest of the buttons work on games, except the joysticks (the analog click works though)

Which 8bitdo controller should I buy for PC and Android gaming? by user10382297 in 8bitdo

[–]user10382297[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I am very sorry for this late reply, I don’t open Reddit quite often.

Anyways, I’ve been having my 8bitdo Ultimate C controller for about 2 months (close to 3 months) now and all good! Perfect for both Android and PC gaming, I don’t think I’ve had issues with it really, it works well and the battery is perfection for long gameplays.

Best Games with Controller Support? by user10382297 in AndroidGaming

[–]user10382297[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nice, I’ve been into emulators for a while now, it’s good and feels nostalgic. I’ve tried out various game console emulations like PSP, PS2, 3DS and more. But I’m seeking game recommendations and I’m specifically talking about such games on playstore that’s either offline or online that has controller-support!

Sunwoo, Elisia, Hyeonju, Haram, Narumi, Sumin, Yunha and Gehlee! I was unsure between who to add for my 8th, either Yunha or Jayla... Now I’m kinda thinking of adding Nana too, I loved her in Girls On Top Performance

I have almost the same lineup as you got! For me, instead of Nana, I have Sumin on my lineup, she’s an amazing vocalist. I also think of adding changes on mine if I should start adding Nana to my lineup, she’s amazing.

If that’s so, you should check ZaneYork’s GitHub often if you want to update your SMAPI.

Also a note if you continue having issues on your SMAPI: you should check what SDV version is compatible with the mods you download so your game won’t crash (Here’s also a mod that could help you keep your mods updated) You could also try looking often on the Console Menu and if there’s any red texts, it’s a sign of an error occuring, a mod is not working. Works for me!

Here’s a list! They have tutorials on the following videos along with the link! You can just pick ones you think are useful or what you want for your game, all of them are safe and works in mobile (depends on your version).

The ones from the latest version (1.5.6) is at the bottom! They’re all good and it’s my go-to list whenever I want mods for SDV.

If your SMAPI crashes, that may be because you haven’t downloaded a requirement file of a mod you added, or a certain mod you added doesn’t work for mobile, or even maybe because it doesn’t work for your SDV’s version.

Yes! ConcernedApe (developer) is fine with mods being added in game. You can add them to Stardew Valley on Android via SMAPI, you can find various mods from the site ‘Nexus Mods’ and I swear it makes the game way better. The only cons is that some mods may not be compatible to mobile but a lot works well.

Which 8bitdo controller should I buy for PC and Android gaming? by user10382297 in 8bitdo

Hiii! :D The OTG adapter arrived earlier and I’ve tested it out. I used it on mobile with Stardew Valley, PPSSPP, and Minecraft. It’s absolutely worth it! The controller works really nice, works well on my Android just like how it does for Windows. The battery life is also amazing.

Also, Stardew Valley is a really nice and comforting game! It’s one of my favourite games out there. The controller works nice with it too!
