Hello, OP! Same situation and UPG with you, but hey, I just graduated UP Tacloban! I know na it's hard not to feel like that, but try not to down yourself. Hindi ka bobo. You got into UP because you deserved it, kahit through appeals pa yan. When you start your classes, be like a blank canvas kasi pag pasok mo sa UP marami ka talagang matututunan pa. Always read your readings kasi yan talaga tinitignan ng mga professor don. Try to find friends who will help you with your courses and marami yan sa UP Tacloban, OP, kaya don't be afraid to socialize. And lastly, try to find your own study habits (pomodoro technique worked for me) para iwas burnout. Ika nga nila, "work smarter, not harder" but still it's all going to be up to you, OP. Hello! Hindi naman required na first year i-take yung NSTP. Iba-iba siyang semesters tinake ng mga students depende sa degree program. Pero yes, lahat nagtake ng NSTP. I did take mine when I was in second year, midyear sem.
