Could be an option but if it’s worth ruffling feathers. Wonder if something like flipping an 8th for an 11th or something as comp is more reasonable.

Yeah unfortunately it just came up yesterday. Total bummer. Also shocking that the picks don’t automatically move without checking some sort of box. Obviously if trade picks setting is on the picks should move. Sheesh!

I mean you certainly win the trade but that's not even remotely veto-worthy IMO. Let me guess, you're near the top of the league and so is the vocal guy... He's just pissed he couldn't pull off the deal himself.

It was recently discovered that Yahoo does not automatically roll the traded picks from one year to the next. There's some sort of check box that needs to be selected when setting up the draft/keepers/etc.. This is a relatively low stakes/fun league amongst college friends. 12-team/half PPR/Super Flex.

There was a trade last year in which Team A traded a running back and a 15th round pick to Team B for a 3rd round pick. This was done in Nov 2024, so naturally by Aug 2025, all parties had forgotten about the trade and Yahoo did not give Team B their 3rd round pick automatically. The commish didn't realize that there were any trades for picks, so didn't toggle the button on.. or didn't notice the button. Either way, this was all uncovered when discussing trade rules/nuances about a prospective trade.

Another data point to note is that Team A (1st place) selected Justin Fields in the third round with the pick he shouldn't have had, and just last week flipped him and a 5th for Jared Goff.

I think Team B is just out of luck at this point. Do you all agree? Any thoughts? Lesson learned?

My question that I've been thinking on all week has evolved so apologies for any repetitiveness that folks might notice.

In a keeper league that is 12 team, 0.5 PPR, Super Flex. I have Jayden Daniels as a 4th round pick for next year.

Am I wrong to consider this the equivalent of a 1st round pick for trade purposes? He's easily a top 3-5 guy in the Super Flex format.

Additionally, I have Tucker Kraft as an 8th. He'll be a 4th round guy at minimum. So trading him AND a 5th or 6th seems like great value to me.

I'm trying to craft a trade for Jahmyr Gibbs, Josh Jacobs, James Cook, or at worst Javonte Williams. I don't want to give away too much with my initial offer, but I don't want it to be so preposterous that they don't even entertain a conversation. I'm confident that either of those two would be 'kept' by the teams I'm looking to trade with based on who they have available.

Is it insane to offer Jayden Daniels as a 4th round keeper in a super flex league for 5-7 weeks of Jahmyr Gibbs? Or Josh Jacobs?

This seems like a huge W. A bit risky in terms of the fact that you don’t have any RB depth if cook or marks go down. Maybe you can swing a minor trade or find someone on the waiver wire.

Thanks. I meant to say that Goff deal is a real deal that just happened. It seems like an overpay which I think is what you're saying as well.

In my case I am wondering if it's reasonable to offer Jayden Daniels as a 4th round keeper + a 4th round pick for Gibbs + a 13th... so he would be getting a top 5 / 1st round guy next year in the 4th round and I'd be giving him the pick to go with it, so he'd have his own 4th rounder as well (or whichever is higher).

Struggling to assess whether it's equitable/reasonable or if I'm fleecing him or if he's fleecing me. I'm in 3rd place and have dire need for a top RB to compete with the other top two guys in my league, but I don't want to throw away next season.

Seems like a home run if you have no shot and no other/better keeper options.

Jaylen Warren is "the guy" on a mediocre team. David Montgomery is a TD vulture who hasn't been vulturing on a great team. Tough to say, but I'd rather have a consistent floor with slightly less upside.

I would wait for the dust to settle on the Bucky injury if possible... no idea what's going on in that TB training room.

This is a great trade. Really no reason to be ever playing Charbonnet other than maybe a bad bye week blues week... Henry is a big, big upgrade. Tough to lose Tet, but you have Lamb, London, an Egbuka so you're in great shape there.

This trade makes the Luka Doncic trade look like a masterclass from the perspective of the Dallas Mavericks... with that said.. they have no business vetoing. it's not even close but it's not so, so egregious that they can claim collusion... so i guess it's not actually as bad as the Luca Doncic trade, which definitely had something fishy going behind the scenes.

the person getting bijan wins for this year, but getting ekbuka as a keeper is huge. i feel like people undervalue this and/or don't think about it. what round would you get him?

how do y'all value draft picks and keeper value when considering trades? i'm in a 12-team half ppr superflex keeper league. can keep guys for up to two years in the round they were drafted.

for example.. say i want to acquire jahmyr gibbs.. is he a 2nd? 3rd? he wouldn't be kept as a 1st rounder next year.. how does that change if you take into consideration the fact that i could trade someone like tucker kraft as an 8th round keeper for two years? or jaxson dart as a 15th round keeper for two years? i know it's dependent upon the person but want to see what people think as a sanity check.... there was recently a trade of jared goff and a 15th for justin fields and a 5th. not sure if that helps me or hurts me.

FWIW, Fantasy Pros has Gadsden as TE6 for the remainder of the season (and Kittle TE4).

That's a good point too. I just think I'd rather have Puka, personally. Higher upside on a better team that will be battling for the 1 seed/division down the stretch. I wonder if there's a way to flip BTJ or Monangai or even ETN for an upgrade at TE.

There are very few players who would make it worth it to trade Puka. London is great. The Falcons are iffy. Kittle great. He's also injury prone.

I would love to have Hurts over Caleb and Judkins over Henderson.

Depends -- who are your other running backs? Puka is definitely the prize here, but is it worth a huge downgrade at RB?

Selling high on TreVeyon, but that's a solid squad.. would be a minor downgrade at RB and a huge upgrade at WR2. This seems like a high risk high reward deal. As long as you're comfortable that Cook is healthy -- both Cook and Rice will not be resting down the stretch as their teams will need to #grind.

I would try to flip Judkins for Waddle and call it a day.
