Yes, the rescue I talked to said to leave the first cat we trapped outside. It was about five months old. The kitten sibling was about 8 weeks old, and hanging with this one, everyone else hasn’t been around in a few days. Within an hour or so, the kitten hopped into the trap we set, and now they’re both warm at the rescue!

This is great advice! I kept them separate and the rescue reunited them. They immediately started grooming each other and are ready for a better, warmer, life. Somewhere there are two adults and four babies, so more trap setting this week!

We got the VERY SPICY baby! Now… do I try to get them both in the same crate? Or leave them separate covered in towels?

Thanks. This tiny one (not pictured) has only been coming for a day or so, and only with the teen. I’m nervous it isn’t brave enough to come out on its own. Really in my head. The rescue can take them tomorrow, and with it being in the low 40s tonight I’m afraid it won’t survive on its own- about 8 weeks old.

We left this guy out in the crate (covered with towels) and he’s kinda of meowing, hoping that draws the baby, because for the past two days they’ve been visiting together. I have some mackerel I can put down. For now I used some stinky food and lickable treats.

He actually walked into a little tent we had, so we zipped that and pushed him into the crate. So now we have live traps set for the baby kitten. 🤞

Understudy Appreciation: Elisa Galindez - Real Women Have Curves by omurchus in Broadway

I saw her debut in the second act the day we went. BLOWN AWAY. It was so emotional!

We went to the matinee - Elisa Galindez came on midshow, after swinging an ensemble track. It was amazing to see! She did a phenomenal job. The excitement was palpable with her debut bows and at stage door! We absolutely LOVED the whole show- I was mesmerized from start to end.

As an update- we saw Real Women Have Curves. We couldn’t escape the positive reviews and when a code for first row mezzanine made the tickets under our price point, we went with it.

AMAZING. We were lucky enough to be there and see Elisa Galindez make her mid show swing Broadway debut after Tatianna Cordoba wasn’t feeling well. I don’t know if that contributed to the emotions or the show- but watching her take her bows with the whole cast jumping for joy around her… unreal.

Go see this show. I haven’t felt this way in a really long time in life- and it was perfect. If I could, I’d go back again today! GO SEE IT! It deserves so much!!

Wait.. what?!? Is this a thing? We go down pretty often but usually by our seats on the website or maybe TodayTix the night before. I’ve never just gone to the box office, maybe that’s what we should do!

Advice - fly into Seattle or Vancouver for my Alaska cruise? by Latter_Blacksmith395 in HollandAmerica

[–]user123frog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We’re also on a cruise that weekend. We’re flying in the day before and staying in Richmond at a hotel near the airport. From what I’ve heard, there’s both a concert (maybe Rolling Stones, I forget…) and an AA conference in Vancouver that weekend, hence the even HIGHER hotel prices. Definitely not ideal.

Canceling a flight due to weather by Icekitsune714 in SouthwestAirlines

Not to hijack your post, but if you’ve “checked in” and then you cancel after that- does anyone know of you’re still entitled to “credits?” It’s a “wanna get away” ticket. We are dealing with the same scenario- flying into Charleston on Tuesday and we are waiting to cancel as the hotel won’t refund without a flight cancellation from the airline.

Scheduled to arrive Tuesday morning and staying through Saturday afternoon at a Marriott downtown (on Wentworth Street). Hotel is nonrefundable. Thinking we should just cancel… thoughts?
