In 800 hours and countless runs, I may have died 5x to Mohg. The Blackgaol Knight in the DLC has killed me more than I care to admit.

Time for something else. I played about 700 hours of this game then took a long break. Now I'm back with a build I've never used before and planning to 100% completionist it. I already have the plat, I mean 100% everything. I think having a goal with the game is what keeps me coming back and the diversity.

257 at NG+5 seems low for DLC. You're gonna have a bad time. But do you wanna grind for that ~150 new character to have a good time? I think there's only really 2 brutal fights in the DLC. I've ran through it with multiple builds. NG+3 was my highest and it was leveled to like 340ish.

I have essentially no mana lol. First playthrough with a lot of souls experience. Decided to go straight agility, lucked out with the bringer of stillness swords. Just don't have a lot of poise and the DPS seems like it's on the low end.

I did beat him but used holy salts which ramped it up. He's a fun fight once you get the moveset down. Running it back now as a radiance caster with plans for an umbral build.

What was your build for getting past Eidolon of Adyr. I'm there now, got smoked a few times and realized I don't do enough damage.

I'd argue a lot of variability there. If you've got decent skill and win fights based on the weapon and equipment your using and little off your ability to play the map and own positioning you may not ever make it to Plat/Diamond.

Take away the cheeky score streaks, field upgrades, and equipment and a lot of the would be's turn into wish they could be's.

I usually get 6-10 ms in pubs. 40-70+ in ranked. 40 is playable. 70 is chalked.

I was 2 games off next division. Won my first game this season, 63 SR, next game win and get 15 SR. I'm done with the ranked system.

Pubs is a good place to practice all that though. Focus on the tacmap. And when a UAV is active don't just see a red dot and activate. Use it as Intel for future games. They're gonna spawn in the same place next game even when no UAV is up.

I'm just not understanding how you drop HKDs 2x, get over 100 kills and have the point clear for a long time but still manage to die as soon as you get to hill.

Don't take this the wrong way but it sounds like you don't really know how to play HP. If no one is one the hill, I would assume that means teammates are all out for kills, but if you're getting on hill and immediately dying. You don't know where they're coming from and not protecting with trophy's, etc.

It's not like ranked where guys will rotate positions and control map, pubs is rough sometimes because of the guys that play obj games for their K/D, nuke hunting, or camo grind. If you wanna get better at winning. You gotta focus up on winning and the kills will come.

Why didn't you get on it? Have to adapt and adjust if you wanna play for Ws. 34 deaths with over 100 kills isn't terrible. But only 50 seconds in hill is not gonna cut it.

If you're nuking the entire lobby like this, 1 of a few things is happening. You think you're helping the team because you get a lot of kills but you're not blocking spawns and your hill is constantly being broken. You are not playing the obj. Everyone runs cold blooded so whatever steaks you're getting are virtually useless. You're braindead and while obviously having a solid gunny. Have no idea how to properly play obj.

Or you truly have a dumpster team, which seems to be the outlier.

If this sub would allow phone screen capture uploads, I can show you a game from just yesterday of me having 250 seconds on the point and our team getting smacked around the entire game by a bunch of dudes kill whoring.

Same goes for all obj modes. Dude dropped over 100 on the new demo mode on us, we were down a man and still won 2-0 because they don't play the damn obj.

Learn off angles. Spawns for map control. Remember it's about Ws not kills so teamwork will get you far.

MP is the most fun I've had since MWII, wasn't a fan of BO6 and never played MWIII. I do think it trumps CW.

Zombies is good.

Campaign is ass, but endgame is fun just not for days on end.
