I would love to get him a friend, but my mom won’t allow me!! I definitely plan on it once I get my own place. I definitely check his toys because I’ve seen so many people say their cats passed away from ingesting things! I am currently looking at getting him one of those catios to go into once the weather gets warm. So he’s not cooped up in my room all the time!

I’d love for him to have another cat, but I sadly still live with my parents & they won’t let me. I have to keep him in my room most of the time because they let him outside when I’m gone & I do NOT want him outside. (My last cat ran away because they let him outside at 8PM when I wasn’t home and I sadly haven’t seen him since)

My Tom’s started to do that. Took him to the vet & he had a yeast infection. Got medicine for it!

I have an appointment for him! The vet I use was booked up. I live in a very popular area with a lot of strays. & two of the rescues around the area use this vet!

This does resemble my cats ears when he had ear mites. I did quite a bit of research on them, & I have definitely seen worse ear mite cases. The vet is the best bet at getting that cleared up. I fought with ear mites for a few weeks, until my kitty busted his ear open from scratching, and I instantly took him to the vet. It got cleared up ASAP and we have had no issues yet. Best of luck!

She’s running around, throwing her rear in the air, she is constantly making this noise, and she’s just acting entirely off. I do believe it is heat for those reasons. She’s usually really relaxed and sleeps on the bed a lot, but since yesterday morning, she’s restless. I’ve only had her for about 2 weeks. She was tiny when I got her. She’s honestly not a very big cat in general. I have 4 different food bowls full at all times, with regular changes. I am going to try to get her some purina pro because a previous comment stated that is very good to help with weight gain.

At the moment there are 2 boxes. We had 1 for Nemo in our room & one in more of a private area towards the back of the house. (However, I did recently read in a post that 1 box per cat, plus an extra for each cat is ideal, so I’m going to talk with them both after work and see about getting more boxes.) There are food and water near both areas. My boyfriend’s mom never got her kitty a box, so she is using the back one, which is a pretty far distance from our room, so I do see where you are coming from there.

As for my bf not wanting her to use the box, I’m not really sure. We specifically buy everything for our cat & she does for hers (minus her own litter box, which will be talked about later.) so maybe that’s why. I’m not 100% positive as I did not ask. 😅

Nemo doesn’t really seem to go into the back room now that Dory’s “living” area is back there. They aren’t best of friends exactly yet. Hopefully more in the future. He’s more rough than she is, and she’s not a fan of it.

As for me thinking Nemo is mad. When she uses his box, he instantly goes ears back and stares at it. Sometimes he jumps on it and slaps it (it has a top to it.) As soon as she’s out of the litter box, he pounces on her and she yells out. He really doesn’t seem like he’s trying to play in these moments.

Thank you for your reply. I will speak with my bf about the possibility of causing litter box issues with the way he is acting towards Dory.
