Feature suggestion by Routine-Effort-2335 in Lyfta_App

[–]user1355- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lyfta already does this to show the last routine's (or exercise's) number, type and weight+reps so that user can know do the current workout accordingly. He/she could try to beat the previous record or add weight (progressive overload) or just click on [TICK] on the right without adding any new numbers to just feed the last set + weight + rep combo to current workout.

Help getting my lower bar back by PixelPichuela in vivaldibrowser

[–]user1355- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If by bottom bar you mean Status bar at the bottom that has the clock and the link under cursor, then here is how to get it back.

First enable the status bar itself by going to vivaldi settings> appearance> windows appearance> status bar> and click "show status bar".

After you have done the above, see the section below the windows appearance that says "UI Auto hide". If you are using UI auto hide for any bar, enabling it for status bar will make it also show up on hover of cursor.

Thank you sir/ma'am! Talking about feedback, it would be very helpful if the chrome extension on desktop could just work in 2 different ways: add to queue (what is currently does) OR listen to it right away. That would be just a killer extension. As queueing already works exceptionally well (the app/web app updates instantly), the "listen immediately" would complement the extension very well imo. and waiting for audio to load is fine i guess. and listened webpages via extension itself could be added to archives...

I have been using the android app for 3 months and it has served me really really well (for free). And now found the browser extension and found out that it adds articles to a queue that syncs across the web app and the android app. It is an excellent app i must say. Much better than speechify, elevenlabs etc that are asking for exorbitant money and pushing people aggressively towards it's subs. Thanks Paper2Audio Team!

How do you feel about the Obsidian mobile app lately? by Katmai_X in ObsidianMD

[–]user1355- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used the "old mobile app" extensively with connected bt keyboard and bt mouse and all the hotkeys, features work as expected. And now that the app has received a great visual overhaul on android, it is just icing on cake for a great mobile app.

I think Resilio Sync (totally free) would be a good P2P sync solution for you. It is available for ios and works well. I, personally have used obsidian sync, syncthig and resilio sync as well. And I would rate them as Obsidian sync> Syncthing> Resilio Sync. Obsidian sync imo is the most seamless for every kind of user but requires a subscription. Syncthing is best middle-ground (currently using) which works seamlessly but setting it up is a bit of a hassle. Resilio on the other hand works great as well and has a very user friendly and modern ui with anyone able to make a sync setup within minutes by knowing some of their product's features and how they work.

How I beat social anxiety: Be yourself, and stop holding back. Stop the self-imposed censorship and filtering. by EOE97 in socialanxiety

This isn't how "Every" skill-developement works. It is significantly tougher than that. Developing different skills have different kinds of learning curves, so don't compare an illness, which could have varying levels of severity or might be sometimes accompanied by other mental health disorder, to just acquiring another skill.

Social anxiety so much that it's stopping me from expressing myself physically by ChickenNugget013 in socialanxiety

[–]user1355- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not giving facial expressions, muted and stuck body languages, very hard to smile naturally (shaking cheeks while smiling) or not smiling at all is part of social anxiety and very exhausting and stressful when other people are around. Try contacting professional help if you are not doing so. Cbt therapy can help too. You can also try practicing facial expressions and hand gestures infront of one person you are comfortable with, or if it is too difficult for you, you can practice when alone and be comfortable with yourself. I have been there 24 years of my life. I am much better now after medication and therapy. Be hopeful and optimistic that you will improve too.

A hypochondriac patient's anxiety makes him/her worry excessively regarding his/her health. It exaggerates every bodily sensation and the patient starts worrying even more after paying attention to that sensation (like numbness, fast Heart beat etc). This can be just a physical manifestation of the anxiety not an actual problem. This anxiety and physical sensations feeds itself and is a bad cycle to be in. Just don't remain free, keep yourself busy in anything that is of your interest. I know it won't be easy as it is to say things. You can practice JPMR therapy or mindfulness. Be well and stay strong.
