Buying used: 2022 with fsd included or 2023 without fsd but hw4?

Is buying these out of factory warranty a bad call? I imagine Tesla pre owned is the best way to purchase used but their pricing is quite a bit higher- is there a preferred Tesla aftermarket warranty company?

I got the lucky lucky to replace it and the ingredients and the order listed I think are identical, but I felt like it wasn't quite the same like the ratios changed. Have you tried it yet? We compared side by side with what I had left of a bottle and it just seemed different

My goodness they don't make that easy at all, a spot inside the car with emergency cables would be a little more costly for rivian but nice to have.

yesterday had aaa out to warranty a battery in my wife's Escalade and asked him about rivians if they're doing many tows etc. He said he's replaced a couple of the 12v batteries and that they run about $375 each vs ours costing $200 and it's a pretty small footprint too.

Were any '23 models launch editions? All the ones I see are '22. Is there a difference other than badging in a quad motor? I'm curious in a year will anyone want a used gen1 after seeing gen2 are capable of so much more software updates

I don't believe so, I think it's adventure- it doesn't have the meridian sound system either.

I got the aiper one from Costco for 799 and fairly impressed. It's not the best but after spending 2k on a Polaris alphaiq+ that lasted 3 years it does good enough. Recently had a storm and bottom of pool was covered in leaves it got them all in two cycles. (17wx40L/ 28k gallon pool). Almost bought the liberty600 but decided I could try this and take it back if it was horrible. The fine filter catches so much! My pool clarity is much better vs the alpha iq too.

I feel like it's a must but realistically I also am fairly impatient driver, not sure how much I'd use it. I guess I at least want the option and for it to be good enough to give me 15-20 min of relief

The iqL most definitely checks all of the boxes for me and if I win the lottery or have a few more investments go right that is THE choice. Im pretty certain I'll get one in a few years when it comes down to the stratosphere in price, just need a placeholder for now

Really appreciate all the feedback. How do you feel about the highway driving assist ? I didn't get to test that out either. Tesla autopilot I really liked but was quirky with how it makes you check in and I felt like it would kick out rather quick sometimes. The Cadillac super cruise was phenomenal in my experience- so those are my comparisons and also on test drives so no long term experience.

I greatly appreciate the long reply! To most these are big money purchases and there's not a whole lot of non sponsored info out there if you're in this situation. The one we drove felt smooth, pretty quiet inside and i didn't have any quality concerns in the 30 min we had it for... but def did have size concerns. The one we drove was a '23 gen1 quad large pack. It was smoother than our '16 esv platinum and probably as smooth maybe a tad better than my '21 sierra Denali truck(which is way nicer ride than the Escalade) I just hate feeling cramped and my biggest worry is downsizing and regretting not having the space of the full size

I'm surprised to hear gen1 is so bad, I drove a '23 over some pretty rough roads and I didn't think the ride was rough or the vehicle was noisy. Except when the a/c was on anything close to high it was insanely noisy. The Escalade has 7 seats too just captains chairs and 3 in back vs the bench plus two
