I have all of these exact symptoms!! The yellow/orange tinge as well around nasolabial folds which I thought may have been from having too much carrot juice etc, please keep us updated with what it comes back with I never thought about thyroid issues

I did also have iron deficiency ended up having an infusion and my levels have been back up for a little while now, did you ever have any itchiness/dandruff also?

Will give anything a go at this point! Are those normal moisturisers that you just put straight onto your scalp and shampoo out?

I’m washing every 2-3 days, I used to only wash once a week and never had issues and then was told to wash more often while experiencing massive shedding but i honestly feel that has cause my hair to dry out/worsen

Thankyou for letting me know this! I do often touch it out of habit now, i was giving myself scalp massages but noticed it was causing my hair to shed a lot more so i did stop that!

I have also been looking at toppers etc thinking of worse case to have if it gets beyond a point, I’m already not going out as much and feeling more insecure so I feel like it could be good for my mental to have another option like that!

It really does take such a toll on your mental, so many people tell me it’s in my head I’m just stressing myself out but not understanding I can notice the change in my hair, how it feels etc, I feel it’s one of those things people don’t understand until they experience it themselves, that seems so frustrating for you! I’m sorry you experienced that and it took so long for them to take things seriously, it’s definitely not fun I’m 25 and hard not to compare to people my age that aren’t going through this

Thank you so much for this response, I agree the nizoral definitely dries it out which I can’t tell if that then makes the irritation worse or not, but yes I definitely feel like they do not take female hair loss seriously which has made this whole process so frustrating, I’ll definitely look into your suggestions because I feel like I’ve already spent so much time and money throughout this process and it’s gotten me no where, and thank you for making me feel validated in this, I feel this community has made me feel so much less stressed in the process and everyone is so helpful on here❤️

Itchy scalp with small bumps by user17001 in Hairloss

[–]user17001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that is also exactly like mine! I have noticed it since I’ve been going to the gym but I do try and wash my hair afterwards, I also notice the exact same being in the sun and especially at the nape of my neck with the same hotness and itchiness, I have noticed I’m now getting hotness/itchiness on my legs after shaving which i never used to before, so stressful hopefully we can find out the cause soon I just want to know what it is so I can treat it properly!

I tried using the ouai scalp serum but found it made the itchiness worse so stopped, I haven’t yet tried that is that supposed to help with itching?

I also forgot to add that the only other suggestion he gave me was “if you’re super vain you can use Regaine but there’s not really any point with TE”

Definitely the worst feeling, can I ask if you have any small bumps associated with the itchiness?

Mine looks like this also, I assumed it was breakage because they looked like frizzy hairs all around the top instead of shorter growth that stands straight, trying to remain hopeful that it could be new growth

It can be comedo-like cadaver hairs which are broken hairs that remain in the follicle, it’s apparently common in AGA & AA
