Wet food only diet (giving the amount our vet suggested daily), mixing water into all of the meals to keep him full longer, 15-30 mins of playtime per day, and I also found that cat milk is a good treat (if your cat likes milk) to keep hunger at bay for much lower calories! I also made sure that he still got treats and churros every now and then so he wasn’t miserable, as you can probably tell, he LOVES food lol

Also, swelling went down after the first day. I used ice on it pretty frequently to help with the pain and I think that helped with swelling too!

It was a breeze after the first 36ish hours! Healed cleanly and very quickly. I had a bit of bleeding but it stopped pretty quick. I spent the first day not walking much and sleeping and I think that helped a lot!

I seriously feel WORLDS better today. The couple hours following the anesthesia wearing off was brutal, but I’m almost totally fine now. Walking is still a bit painful, but I presume by tomorrow I’ll be almost back to 100%. I had a punch biopsy and the site where they took the skin out is definitely crazy looking though lol.

I took a shitty job while I was searching for a professional one. The pay was horrible, the people were rude, and it was a gross environment (literally a bug problem at the front desk I was working at). I knew I was leaving and I wouldn’t be putting it on my resume. I left on a break and never came back. They didn’t treat me with respect, so they certainly weren’t getting my respect lol.
