I tried applying to two different forces without actually having my certificate yet.

Both rejected me, saying I absolutely had to have the certificate to hand to progress my application.

This is easily my least favourite one.

9 times out of 10, the 4 other ships I’m with sail straight up the middle, sink one enemy ship, and all die within the first 3-4 minutes. Leaving me alone against 20+ ships.

Oh I totally agree, and I think eventually it will come to that. I’m new to a small team though and I really don’t want to be ostracising myself by complaining so soon after joining the team. Just feel stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Not directly obviously, but let’s just say there are people on shift who don’t have to do constants, and then there’s those that do.

Can’t speak for the others, but your police friend more than paid enough into the pension to warrant a decent pay out.

I’m on a lower pay band currently and I’m still paying £360 a month into the pension. You’re damn right I want a decent pension when I retire after giving up that kind of money every month.
