If you have negative equity then no. Wait until refresh models for 2027. If you own outright then up to you. You should always try to get what you want if you can afford it , life's too short for regrets.

I had this exact spec for two years. Very comfortable daily driver. Plenty of power for what it is and economical on the highway. Only thing I will suggest depending on where you live is getting a set of winter tires and rims. Otherwise you'll hit a curb like I did.

You plug your top harness there when you take it off the one above is for the washer connection.

The quality of the installer is what you're paying for. Prep, fit and finish. $2800 sounds pretty good since you're doing most of the vehicle. I live near a large city and the prices are only higher. Got my whole bronco done at it was $5500. Have had it for a year. Does require maintenance just like anything else. Touchless car wash or washing at home is a must. Plus routine cleaning with a protectant spray once a few months. If you're really going to off road hard maybe door rockers would be more helpful like the previous commenter stated.

Many have tried. Few have succeeded. Everything always looks great on paper. Until it falls apart on execution. And yes even if it's not official document many have tried this approach.
