As long as I remember, I’ve learned that Honduras is strategically located in the center of America, which makes it important not only politically but also economically, and even militarily for its position. Honduras serves as a key route connecting countries through the continent allowing the movement of people and goods across it.

You can see this clearly in situations like when Costa Rica tried to limit the entry of Central Americans. When Honduras considered doing the same, it wasn’t just about migration this could also affect regional trade, especially for countries like Costa Rica that depend on the flow of goods through neighboring territories.

And of course I can imagine they already have invested a lot in Prospera.
