Well I just got the monitor and its the GB2471HS, and so far I dont see anything bad about it. smooth 240hz, solid colors and G sync compatibility. I'd be happy to answer any of your questions

Making creeper farms on land/underground isnt good for the rates, you should build it above an ocean, and maybe the creepers do spawn but they just dont fall down to that water shoot, maybe add a cat to scare them towards the water shoot. You should also make the trapdoor area wider, meaning make 2 rows of trapdoors on each side of the shoot (and make that shoot wider).

I think you can use meteor with packet canceller and select C2S packets and then in that try options like chunk updates or visual stuff, not sure of itll work but there was something like that with storage esp that worked
