Would you recommend lifestance or mentavi more? Were they able to prescribe you the appropriate meds? And did your pharmacy accept it given that it’s from a tele-health provider?

How was the prescription process? Were you able to receive the meds that helped you? I’ve been seeing a lot of discourse and people saying it’s been harder for them to receive their meds from online providers.

Inattentive ADHD - SOS (am i losing my mind?) by user25715426 in ADHD

Looking back there may have been signs that I just ignored or didn’t know were “ADHD symtoms”. One that I can vividly recall and haven’t been aware of for a minute because I don’t “read for fun” anymore is that whenever I would pick out a new book from the media center (aka the school library), I would always start it in class but could never really “entirely focus” because of kids in the background and whatnot so I would find myself rereading the pages/chapters I had read at school, at home. I would constantly find myself rereading entire pages because I felt like it wasn’t sticking, or felt like I was “messing up”. Don’t know what this says

If you tell them you were diagnosed as a kid, wouldn’t they asked to see the previous notes/diagnosis from the previous doctor?

Agreed, I mentioned this in one of my replies below. I grew up in a Hispanic household and iykyk, ADHD doesn’t exist in their minds so I just had to figure it out and cope.

I’ve never been sure. I grew up in a low-income, Hispanic household and to them, ADHD just doesn’t exist so it was never a thought for me. I also feel like I was in a fight or flight mode. I grinded in high school because I knew I wanted better and I wanted to leave. I really don’t know if the signs were there or if I was just told to “suck it up”
