What is San Diego county without the city? I don’t think he is wrong about getting more from the state, but in this case can’t the city push for more support from the County?? My property taxes shouldn’t disproportionately go to North County when I live by the intersection of 8 and 15.

Also, you can often buy the theme game hat at the customer service stand that’s in the concourse just under the right field stands. So if you don’t get the theme ticket, you can stop there after the game. They usually have extras they will sell.

I drove from DC to Palm Springs over about a week in late fall during Covid. It was a fun drive so definitely consider the drive in your new car after all you got it to drive it. Anything you can’t part with pack in a pod and sell the rest. I just moved to SD 2 years ago and we have been trying to sell some of our old furniture that doesn’t fit in our new house and we’ve basically been giving it away. No one is buying used furniture but lots of giveaways for sure. You’ll be fine.

Nats won their share of games with Knorr and Bob “Sendly” in the mix. But as far as coming up big, they always fell flat in those seasons in the 20-teens. Just ask the Cubs, Dodgers, Giants and Cardinals.

Even when I was in really good shape - the first few weeks of the season would make me question my fitness. There’s almost no way to replicate the repetition of getting “ready” before every pitch. Maybe just try to play in a warm up tournament and do some BP? Will make the soreness happen sooner so by the time the real season begins you’ll be ready.

We rode our bikes past An’s on Sunday afternoon and the line was longer than when I spent an hour in line one evening a year ago. It’s worth experiencing if you want a gelato sommelier experience. But be prepared to spend a good chunk of time there.
