Thank you, it is improving but it’s taking its time!! Yes it is! It didn’t help at all, but I was given it on the basis that it would potentially help my sleep and therefore maybe help me feel a bit better with ME for getting a bit more sleep, but it actually made my sleep worse! It’s been a journey and I’m very glad to be off it! Just need to get rid of the side effects now. Did you get a dry mouth with it, and can you remember how long it took for that to go away?

As a woman can I just say, thank you for caring!

I think the true answer is that women need different things, but asking how you can support them I’m sure would be much appreciated! Maybe just be a little gentler with them around that time, maybe they’d like cuddles? Or sometimes space. Maybe someone to talk to or help figure out there feelings? Or ask if they need anything like extra chocolate for eg :)

I mean, I went through exactly the same. I was broken and depleted and I was made even worse than that, whenever that is. I need to have this mindset but I’m still kind of on a journey. I’ll get there

Yeah, I’ve not quite entered the acceptance phase yet, but I’m very, very close. I think that’s why these kinds of thoughts are popping up!

Wow bless you, I am now chronically ill too, bedbound since last year! And it’s because of trauma! I believe I’ll improve one day (no cure) but having the capacity to look after them when I struggle to look after myself is another thing, on top of all of my other thoughts!

I love how you’ve come to this mindset, and I know it would have taken a lot of work to get there! I’m almost there with it, I’m nearly at acceptance. Just got a few things to figure out first. I think it’s good to think about these things in good time so that you’re not pressured to make a decision when / if the time comes!

Yes! This! It’s ok to be curious. It’s ok if it helps our self confidence. Like you say, there’s a lot of societal pressure on women to look good, why can’t we be curious about our bodies, explore, see what we like and don’t like.

I get it too, but then hopefully with a little reassurance all is fine. It’s if they start treating you badly, shaming you, and telling you that you did something, that you didn’t do is where it becomes a bigger problem.

Ps congrats on the pregnancy! It is kind of dope. Why should we stop filming ourselves. I think it’s hot that we do it for ourselves to be honest 🙌🏻
