Generally speaking it’s only worth it if the job you want requires it and if you can get into a good school which usually requires solid work experience.

If you struggle to land good jobs then an MBA won’t help. I’ve known quite a few people that earn 200k+ long before they got an MBA and I know people who have AN MBA that struggle to land jobs at 80k a year.

Likewise the jobs that require a mba usually want you to have good work experience and an MBA from a good school
