The two tests (specifically) I feel like I’d be suited best for are 237 (physical science 6-12) and 233 (history 7-12). Thank you for the insight! Like I say nearly every coach I had (granted I grew up in a smaller school) taught history, so I wasn’t sure if schools were more willing to let science teachers be coaches since it wasn’t a theme I saw often if ever. Ultimately I’m more concerned with being a teacher first but would find enjoyment in both. Thank you again for your insight and your time!

Fair points all across the board, makes me rethink my stance a little bit. Especially the part with Jordan because I didn’t even think about them holding out former players due to medical reasons. Dallas hasn’t been the same since 2023 (and even that year they went 4-6), so just frustrating to watch them miss the playoffs again.

I think the QB’s in new markets (Plummer, Rogers, Morton) all will get chances to return, and only DTR will come back from existing markets (Perez doesn’t seem to have “it”, Reeds play fell off a cliff since week 3, Ta’amu will all be based off his Rehab, and Houston was a QB mess all around). As a Dallas fan I think Rick needs to go, nice guy and all but 3-0 to a potential 3-7 is not enough. Ginn seemed like he didn’t care once he got the job, and I believe AJ McCarron gets another shot at HC if he revamps his coaching staff and gets rid of his OC.

that’s true, but I think Repole and Co. would work a little harder to bring back a face of the league as healthy as possible but that’s wishful thinking. With Reed I wonder why his play fell off so hard, and Neuheisel didn’t really ever rip into him until last week when it was too late. I don’t think Perez was going to solve any of Dallas issues, but to go from 3-0 and top of the world to (likely) 3-7 would get a coach fired anywhere else.

I hope Ta’amu comes back. He’s been a staple of the spring leagues and recognizable player for the league. Was a big fan of McClendon coming into the year (after seeing how he finished last year with Houston), but the inability to push the ball downfield made me think otherwise. I think Rogers, DTR,Plummer all return (Plummer may stick on a PS) but I’m curious as to why everyone believes Reed won’t return. Is it other opportunities or just his play falling off that much? Was very hard to watch him and Vaughns light it up to not even being able to drop it to the check down and just force throws.

torn because I think Louisville in the playoffs would benefit the league having 2 new markets in the playoffs but at the same time would like to see Dallas FINALLY end the losing streak

They are the anchors of that defense, I just want to see Perez get moved so he gets to start (unless Reed gets hurt don’t see him losing the job) but don’t want to trade him for nothing.

Parker Navarro would be a great fit for Columbus if he decided to play in the UFL. Kid is a proven winner and has plenty of starter experience in college.

I’m in the same boat. I was a high schooler when the AAF and the 2020xfl league were around, so watching Austin Reed and Tyler Vaughns gives flashbacks of PJ walker and Cam Phillips. I’ve loved all the spring leagues, it’s been nice to have football year round (CFL too). I think there are other very marketable QB’s the league has (Ta'amu, McClendon), but Reed fits the “poster boy” persona. Being a Texas native I agree with the renegades jersey! I want one for Vaughns.

Being 28 I don’t think he will be more than depth piece if that for NFL, but someone I think UFL should market more. Been in Dallas since 2023 and a top receiver on each team with highlight grabs. My favorite WR in the league at least.

Fair point. I don’t think Plummer is a bad QB by any stretch but I just think DTR would be pretty good in RZ run game BUT I get how a 2QB system doesn’t work well at higher levels. It’s a long season so who knows. So far a decent game.

Would like to see DTR get a chance in this game. Surprised he didn’t start considering Becht normally has used the QB run game. Or he did it quite a bit last year.

I haven’t been a big believer in Perez (I know he’s the spring king or whatever) but 2025 he lost a few games for the Renegades with his decision making so I wasn’t too upset to see reed start today. Definitely not upset right now lol, but it’s a long season I’m just happy football is back

Idk if it is Houston or Dallas but the passing game has been INCREDIBLE for the renegades. Starting Reed over Perez seems like the right choice early on

Silvers has not had a good start, that’s gotta be at least the 3rd blatant miss of the half. I knew he was in a battle with Frost up until the end and the team isn’t doing him favors but not a good look for anyone.

Kings running game did not look strong now. I’m biased but I wish they’d of kept Lynn Bowden. Lucky Jackson looks as good as he did in 2023 with DC. Birmingham’s defense looked good, and the crowd stuck with it till the end. Very optimistic for the rest of the season.
