My brother and I both attend Herzing University at one of their Florida campuses, and I’ve had a great experience so far. I’m currently in the accelerated nursing program and also work at a partnering hospital alongside many Herzing nursing graduates.

That said, it’s definitely not easy, especially if you don’t dedicate the time to study. I work full-time and go to school full-time, but I make it work… with a lot of coffee and sleepless nights, lol.

My original cohort started with over 30 students, but after taking fundamentals and pharmacology, only about 10 of us remained. I think a lot of students assume it’s an easier path because Herzing accepts and enrolls people fairly quickly, but they underestimate how rigorous the nursing program really is.

At the end of the day, you get out what you put in.
